Lindzen admitted in a Harper's Magazine interview years ago that he took money from the fossil fuel industry. It's a matter of public record that he taken money from OPEC, Western Fuels and Peabody Energy. He has also been profoundly debunked in the scientific literature, which you can see at "Climate Misinformation by Source: Richard Lindzen," at the Skeptical Science website. 22 atmospheric scientists from his own MIT also publicly rebuked him for his propaganda, which you can see at CLIMATE CONTRARIAN GETS FACT-CHECKED BY MIT COLLEAGUES. This is the same man, by the way, who defended the tobacco industry against claims that smoking causes cancer. Jordan should give that some thought before hitching his wagon to his "expertise."

I completely disagree with the concept of having to live by these principles, but this is 100% true when it comes to our life and situation. I work a job I love doing (forklift driver) but am obviously not happy finanically or starting a family on $22 USD an hour in Sydney, which were my life goals as an adolescent. I am now 29, given up on life and giving up the social norms of a house and family. But over 5 years I have learn't to accept that, just be happy doing what I love and externals don't matter. To be honest I went through a long depression but after coming to terms I can bet I am probably happier right now then 90% of people.

We've all been programmed from early age in one way or another, and to know how many people who would rather still just believe the lies is beyond me.
