When my Dad passed away I moved back to this area to help care for my aging Mother. I was fortunate that my Community Health Center was hiring as I still needed to work. It has been just over 10 years ago and now I have a work home for myself and a great Health Center for my son and 3 grandkids. We need our Community Health Center.

How long is the treatment/
I go to a rural health care clinic and have used the 340b program for many years. This month, because of the changes to the 340b program, my blood pressure med went from $24 to $135, so I can no longer afford it. My ADHD med, the pharmacy is now saying they are excluding it from the 340b program. The distinct impression was that they find that med, adderall, morally objectionable. I may as well cancel my pending mammogram, what's the point? I can't afford the only medicare supplement plan in my area because it's $830 a month (yes, I reviewed my maths with an insurance broker) and pretty much anything could be considered pre-existing at any time during the year. So, if I have any medical/dental problem that requires surgery or a hospital stay... I cannot afford it. So, I guess, I just stay home and die?
