Any time I see stuff about Japan it makes me wonder why I continue living in my ultra extroverted consumerist nation where getting five minutes by yourself requires brandishing a weapon to give people the clue. I'm a minimalist myself, and keep my apartment as empty as possible to leave room for my three hobbies. Botany, cooking, and designing game mechanics, all of which can be done in a concentrated space. Luckily my apartment has a balcony so most the plants are outside.

i have been minimizing for 3 years now. I envy this guy. He is a pro minimalist. using a projector to watch TV is a good idea to one day get rid of the TV and all the TV crap and furniture that goes with it. super clean wall.

At the beginning of the video you mentioned how each apartment was supposed to represent a room in a house. The first bedroom you checked out was supposed to represent a garden. The second was supposed to represent a studying area. The third is supposed to represent a bathroom. And the fourth is supposed to represent a living area. So that was really clever of the designers to do.
