I loved how happy and excited you looked, I would love you to do that again, I think that the unplanned and surprises works with you. I want to go to Japan so bad now. But I'm a teacher, and I only have January to travel, so I don't know if it's a good time to go to Japan, here in Brazil is hell fire hot in January, I imagine in Japan is super freezing cold.

No I wouldn't since current AI programs are fed with lots of copyrighted data and their developers are engaged in unethical practices and human exploitation. Bunch of lawsuits against those guys too. I am quite sad that you, as a creative, decided to ride the AI hype without taking in consideration these things.

'Collecting Pokémon cards is dangerous because I have adult money now' That absolutely cracked me up xD Some of those places looked like a backstreet in Europe instead of Tokyo! I always love seeing the small shrines and hokora nestled in between buildings, they really do make for a refreshing sight among the concrete and steel. Thanks Norm ^^

This is such a genius idea Norm. It's kind of like a guided tour for introverts who don't want to have to interact with a tour guide. It also gets you off the beaten path and exploring the quieter side of Tokyo. Definitely will have to consider it for my next trip back to Japan.

At 18:45 you talk about how streets have this ''happy'' feeling. Both in the English and Japanese language there is no real word for what the dutch call: gezellig. Gezellig means kind of a mix between cozy and busy in a positive way. It feels cozy because a certain space is getting busy. It feels like you and a bunch of other people are there for the same reason to hang and chill out. I would call streets like these in Japan ''Gezellig''!

That was an interestng walk. Thanks for sharing and I like that you didn't totally stick to the AI plan. Beautiful areas to see and explore! Always look forward to your videos. Cheers from the US!

I'm a bit late to this one becuase of how busy I've been the past 2 to 3 months. BUT! Finally managed to watch this, and not only did my heart melt with the shot of that older woman asking to join your channel, I also couldn't stop laughing with your reaction of the food location hahahaha! Love the idea, I use ChatGPT for quite a lot of documentations, work related info etc - easier and quicker than searching loads of links through Google - but the database is only based on 2021 data. AI is definitely a game changer for A LOT of things, from travelling, photography, video editing and even school work! I love learning about it, and being used to get your itinerary while in Tokyo, I am 100% doing it next time I'm there ;)

Yay!! A Sunday sit down with a cup of a tea and Mr Norm!!👌🖤✌️ Edit; as always Mr Norm, your excitement is contagious! And for someone who probably won't ever be able to explore these places due to health issues, it makes me feel like I'm right along with you on your explorations!🙏

Great video. I have not visited Tokyo since 1992 and always enjoyed exploring the city. I lived in Okinawa for 2 years in the mid 70s and Camp Zama from 1990-92.

It's amazing how gpt can suggest hidden spots. I thought it would give only touristy places. I'll give it a try! Thanks for the great video, Norm

I love all your videos but I think exploring the hidden gems in the countryside and the backalleys of Tokyo. I am constantly adding places to visit in Japan to my list :D Also Jimbocho is a dream come true! I would love just explore the different bookstores and buy as many books as I can fit in my suitcases for Japanese practice 😊

AI is certainly an interesting concept as it’s portrayed these days. The Nakasendo is definitely a must do. Another great one, Norm!
