Since 1956, Christianity Today has been a trusted beacon spotlighting the way in which Christians can live gospel lives for the strengthening of church and society.
We're more than a magazine. As a nonprofit global media ministry, Christianity Today engages over 4.5 million Christian leaders every month, encouraging and equipping them to advocate for the church and shape the evangelical conversation.

Dissenter & Protestia report David French has supported drag queen story hour for kids and called it a blessing of liberty, they also says he defends gay marriage rights, is that true?
Lost way here….please pray for me and all who are lost ❤
A conversation between two brilliant Christians. Wonderful.
A master of cherry picking. He ignores the meat of predestination, the verses for complimentarianism etc.
Thank God for His love, but I certainly disagree that I should be "following the science" with regard to so-called "climate change". These same "scientists" also think I came from an ape which came from a pool of lifeless ooze which came from NOTHING. So pardon me if I don't totally trust everything they tell me. (Not to mention the fraud demonstrated by the most hard-core climate apologists).
22:19 gay as f ck
I graduated with a Master's degree in Christian Ministry with the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary and after do ending $59,000 on it, am completely unmarketable. I make $2000/monthas an Ed. Assistant instead.
So, 20:58 NT Wright's spiritual advice to someone on his deathbed worried about looming judgement is not to talk about confession of sin and repentance and faith in the cross of Christ, but to reassure the person of God's love. That's all I needed to hear to know the man is not biblical. He's a well-spoken wolf. Compare his message to what the apostles preached !
She makes a living on the prosperity anti-gospel. Like no one exposed it before.
"Mainstream evangelical pastors like Andy Stanley" .... that didn't age well.
No fan of Driscoll but these Hyper progressive liberal women giving their 2 cents is hard to listen
To
Schuler and avoiding talk of SIN was a problem and IS Today's problem. Younger people today have no idea what is SIN per the scriptures.
Rick Warren isn’t southern or a Baptist. He should be removed from the church entirely for trying to push this garbage
Indeed, nothing can separate us from the love of God (see Romans 8:35-39); for "God is love" (1 John 4:8b). However, our behavior can remove us from the life of God in us (see Romans 8:12-14).

Copy and pasting doesn't seem to be working for you.

It costs virtually nothing to claim Christianity today. It's actually financially lucrative here in the west to do so. But a time is coming where many will deny Christ because it will cost them their life.
I had not heard of Driscoll until 2021. He had no influence on my 2016 decision as a Christian to vote for Trump. It had to do with he was the only candidate truly speaking pro America stuff, everyone else was talking that Bush style "free markets" non-sense. Nothing of America, they sounded like a corporate panel.
Why would anything be "off limits for the Pulpit" as MacArthur is quoted saying. Aren't pastors to teach the whole word of God? how can Christians learn and grow if pastors are going to limit what they preach on. Tact and carefulness should be able to breach any subject.
Having recently become aware of the Lindel/Driscoll conflict I decided to learn more. Watching this Episode 1, as a boomer generation person what exactly IS the narrators issue with that audio about men from Driscoll? That kind of talk is what my generation was raised on by our WW2 parents. This comment is about that specific comment not about Driscoll directly.
NT Wright has various theological problems. Not theologically sound.
I need a link to the The Music and Meaning
Sword and cricket bat in background. Tom is ready. 😅
Timeless classic: "What's It Like In Your World" ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I love N.T. Wright ❤❤❤ he so knowledgeable and I love his way of teaching Thanks for sharing. ❤
If you haven't seen Hawke in "First Reformed," (written and directed by the brilliant Paul Schrader, who also did "Taxi Driver" and a whole host of incredible movies too numerous to list) do so. It's not an easy movie to watch, but I feel movies about faith, etc. shouldn't be.
jesus is the king of kings
Fifty - three minutes that can b much better utilized elsewhere. Glad this got both of them out of the way simultaneously
Climate change: spring summer fall and winter
Love the energy of Wright and his theological acumen
really good conversation! I love to see Christians and atheists being respectful and listening to each other. If you learn nothing else from this interview, take away the virtue of cordial communication.
I just got over being sick and my voice sounded like that. I could feel the pain in your voice and empathize with you! This was such a thought provoking series, i really appreciate it. Bringing in the experts in the bonus episodes was a wise move for you, and brought wisdom to the listeners.
The séries is hard, but This ep 11 is The worst!!

Hamas shouldn't have started it then and should hide behind human shields. There's two sides at play.
I think Dunbar‘s number is a helpful concept here. Look it up. It suggests that we are only cognitively able to have so many relationships, somewhere between 150 and 250 I think. To me, that suggests the maximum size of a church. When a church can no longer function as a family, then I’m skeptical about whether it is a church in the truest New Testament sense of the word.
Here are two men rambling without purpose in their words. Dust off your Bible, read and meditate upon God's inspired Words. Man continues to lean on their own understanding rather than seeking the true source of wisdom, our Lord Jesus.
He should may be try to know the palestinian people more. They are the one hiding under tables and are being buried RIGHT NOW. When he gave his compliments to the army of Israel I could not help feeling sick to the stomach. Otherwise this guy is a good storyteller, nice thoughts on most things 😊
You'd probably have more subscribers if you had cooler music.
I’ve really enjoyed this podcast. Are there any plans to include video? 😀
Amen.
I was raised without religion in a family that was nominally Catholic. Therefore no childhood indoctrination for the purpose of creating a lifelong dependency. This allowed me to eventually conclude that religion is a culturally acquired shared fantasy: an accident of birth, basically. Which in turn means the majority of religionists in the world didn't choose the religion they believe in. And that's why I'm not impressed by the musings of an NT Wright or SB McCollum. Plug such people into, say, a Muslim milieu, and all their mental faculties and resources would be used to defend a completely different religion. Why? Because what matters most is to be accepted and respected by your peers, and the best way to do that is by accepting the common "wisdom" of the culture into which you're born. Religion is therefore not a search for truth, it's a quest for acceptance.
So boring!
The book is fantastic!
Such life giving words ! Thank you
There are some clear edits in this video, cuts in John's comments. What was edited out?
So much to unpack with these complex topics. I really enjoyed the discussions. It’s why I subscribe and tune into CT.
Thank you Mike for telling your story. Great conversation. Appreciate you and Russell!
