Please note that there is no language called "Togo" in the Ewe . Additionally, Hogbetsotso is not the only festival commemorating escape; Hogbezan is also celebrated in the Ho area and in parts of Togo where Ewe is spoken. The story of Agokoli's cruelty is not entirely accurate. At a point in Notse, there were lot of killings ( as you know there are various ways to kill in ewe culture). Agokoli enacted a law stating that anyone who killed another would also be executed. According to local history (which you can verify by visiting Notse), a group claimed that Agokoli's child or cousin (in Ewe culture, a child of your sibling is also considered your child) had murdered their family member, leading Agokoli to order the death of his own relative. It was later discovered that the alleged victim was still alive. In retaliation, Agokoli planned to use the blood of the accusers mixed with water to strengthen the clay for a wall. Forewarned of Agokoli's intentions, the group spread the story among all clans, leading to a planned escape. It's important to consider diverse historical perspectives and not rely solely on Western accounts. For more accurate historical information, please consult the Council of Ewe in North America, which has conducted extensive research on Ewe history. Additionally, the current Togbui of Aflao (who is not Anlo) has recently shared this history. Finally, I appreciate you acknowledging that the notions of Benin, Togo, and Ghana as distinct nations are rooted in colonial constructs. When we discuss our history, we must emphasize that these borders were established during colonial times and may not accurately represent the historical and cultural continuities of the region. Thanks

They originated from Mesopotamia, through Kermit ( Egypt ), Sudan, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Benin ( Dahomey ), Togo then TransVolta Togoland and finally present day Ghana.

Check your dates. 17th century is 1800. Ewes settled in their parent abode before 1468 hence the oldest kingdom in Ghana.

Most of narratives are not correct. You don't also pronounce the names correctly.Kwahu is like USA. Every town came separately, and at different time. We did not come as one people. Bukuruwa is the first settler so would have been the paramoutcy, but their stool fell to hands of Asante Mampong hunters settling at Abene. Nkawkaw is not traditional town. Greater part is owned by Obomeng, then Atibie.

The Wa people of Ghana otherwise known as the WAALA tribe, occupy upper region District of Ghana.. Their headquarters is known as Wa.., meaning : Come in Idoma language. They're superbly intelligent and educated. Their region in Ghana is said to be one of the most developed region in Ghana.. History has it that they followed the Atlantic Ocean as Fisher men and traders to Ghana from the present day River Benue which they first settled together with their Confederate brothers Jukun, Bassa, Etulo, Igala and Idoma. But, historians believe they're fully part of Idoma family in view of their language of communication which has a lot of similarities with Idoma people of Southern Benue, Northern and southern part of Nasarawa State and as well as the Idoma people in Northern Cross River and middle Central Africa Republic. I'm still doing my empirical research on their origin. However, They practice more of Islam which may likely link them to Agatu people of Idoma ethnic groups in Benue State or, Idoma Noku, Alogo in Nasarawa State.

Fantis aren't Asantes Fanti word came to be before the word Asante ,Fantis are Akans not Asantes . A lot of people confused themselves with Fanti dialect you live in one kingdom to speak dialects between each other to be similar, which means Akans once live under one kingdom before migration

Come on Brothers and Sisters. Ewe did not have any connections or origins in Egypt, Sudan or Ethiopia. Theses myths came after the arrival of Christianity in Eweland. Are origins is from the Yorubaland in present day Nigeria

The war began in 1806 when the Ashanti king, or Asantehene, brought charges of grave robbing on some of his subjects who run from Kumasi to Assin. Fleeing Ashanti lands, these suspected grave robbers were granted refuge by the Fante. Ashanti king Osei Bonsu sent out an army against the Fante for harboring fugitives. At Abura Dunkwa, a major battle was fought, during which the Ashanti were initially victorious and captured the accused Assin Chief, Otsibu. After they captured Otsibu, the Ashanti commander, Appia Dunkwa, sent his men further inward to Fante territory where they met the rear guard and support army of the Fante Forces commanded by Atta that had previously broken away from the other Fante armies at Mumford. The combined Fante Union Army now under Atta's command rendezvoused at Tantumkweri where they defeated the Ashanti after a long day of fighting
