Again i enjoyed this but just a few comments This is not an easy task often opinions or wishful thinking interfere with facts. I know you are relying on other sources but i think if one is covering such a difficult subject other evidence can be introduced to support the narrative. If unsure better to say it is believed. It is apparent that much of this is more recent Nzema history. Are you able to give dates of when the Nzema migrated? Evidence suggests they were one of the earlier Akan groups hence they occupy coastals areas. Linguistics also suggest the Akan they speak is a more ancient form. Additionally they probably absorbed Guan speakers hence the Nzema language is distinct from Twi and Fante. Besides the English - Nzema had interacted with the Portuguese and Dutch the latter were in Nzema from around 1600s to 1870s . Thus Dutch and Portuguese archives probably have more extensive records of their trade and interactions with the Nzema than the british. There are further subgroups of Nzema such as the Dwira (Bamionkor), Pepesa and Evalue (Axim) who live east of the Ankobra, their history in many respects is different from Nzema 'proper'. Abisa and Kundum are the same festival are they not. The map of the districts is incorrect. There is Eastern Nzema (Ellembelle?) which was part of the once united Nzema Kingdom under Awulae Kaku Ackah. Nzema East is a different modern district east of the Ankobra. I am sure on the images is of a south east asian group not Nzema or even Africans. I liked your pronounciation of Awulae Kaku Ackah and Cɔmoɛ river. Yɛ muala, yɛlɛ ko !

I think you have to consult King Kaku Aka lll and the Nvavile Abusua for the rest of the 98% part of the Nzema history (particularly of KING KAKU AKA I) that you left behind and come again. Mele semanli, yɛ meze mɔ melɛka a. Medawɔ ase.

Thanks for your efforts to throw more light on the Nzema People. Meanwhile some of the facts are questionable and exaggerated. I also felt very bad with the pronunciations of some names (personal and places) I suggest you engage an indigenous Nzema person to assist you with the pronouncing the names. Note ABISSA/KUNDUM are the same Festival name of the Nzema.

if you know any indigenous Nzema people that can shed some light on the history of the Nzema people please let me know. I am an Nzema from Ghana but a bit removed from the culture since I was not born in the western and lived outside Ghana for while. I am writing a book about the Nzema people and any information will be helpful. Traveling to Ivory Coast this year to see my fellow Nzema as well. Thanks

@@raggaarcher3751 Akan is a group that includes people who speak kwa languages, and have a common traditions, believes and ancestors. The majority of them are in Ghana (Ashanti, Fanti, Nzema...) but they are a lot in Ivory coast (Baoulé, Agni, Abron, atchan...). They are a lot of similarities in our culture like Kente, fufu or even some words and daily names

Hey Bro: Ashantis have never ever fought against the Nzemas, rather two formed the KOTOKO alliance against the BRITISH. NZEMAS and ASHANTES were the only tribes who refused to signes the BOND OF 1844 ( The Aborigins Rights Protection Association ) and they together became ENEMIES to the BRITISH hence they formed ''ASANTE-NZEMAA KOTOKO ALLIANCE against the then PRO-BRITISH ( A.R.P.A ) tribes. HOW CAN ONE fight his ENEMY'S ENEMY. It is the other way round. Please re-visit your history. Thanks
