    I've never used a bidet and am interested in it but have some questions - Do you carry a bottle of water just for bidet use? I don't think I'd like to use the rest of the water in the bidet bottle for drinking water. Is there backsplash from butt to bidet and if so how do you clean the bidet? I usually carry 12 squares of tp (usually average 4 to 8 pieces per cleanup) per day in a Ziploc. Sanitizing hand wipe goes into the Ziploc with the used tp and the unused tp goes into a clean bag. Thanks for your video. Gives me more information to consider.

    No need for a second bottle, I'm working on a video to answer the age old splash back question :) and if there ever was a catastrophic error, you can't get sick from your own poop!

    I have the “Tushy” bidet on every toilet in my house… now if I have to go anywhere without it, and the thought of dry toilet paper… seems barbarous 😂 - and now I can backpack clean, this is amazing, I’d now rather poop in the woods than use a toilet with no bidet.

    3 years late but I would toast the oatmeal in a dry skillet beforehand, to give a bit more flavor. and for those who are diabetic I would suggest using oat bran instead. Less carbs and more fiber which means less likely to have a sugar spike majorly. and add more nuts and use dried blueberries and raspberries which have lower GI stats.

    What a masterful mind. You get it sir! You pay attention to your audience and know that good first impressions on equipment mean NOTHING, it's always many months into use that shows the true colors of a product. Great attention to product details to. I use those same Whitins as road shoes, have about 800 miles on the so far. No problems, no separations, no holes, no rips. So far they are good road shoes. 👍 (strike with front of foot NOT the heal). I got some new insoles but still use the original insole sometimes.

    I bought one of these to try out and I've been using it for the past 3 months. I can highly recommend. It fits snugly enough into the top of a smart water bottle that it doesn't pop out even when I'm squeezing the bottle, yet it's easy to pop out to refill (you use a different angle of pressure to remove it from the bottle). The flow is good. You do have to squeeze the bottle a bit to get enough psi, in my opinion, but that's not a problem. The multiple holes make for a good "cleaning pattern" so to speak, and uses less than a full bottle of water to do the job (though your mileage may vary.) The bidet is lightweight and very easy to add into a poop kit or ditty bag. In fact, I just ordered a few more to add to various kits. Thanks, Paul, for the obvious effort and R&D you've put into this device.

    Great video. Obvious competence that makes Paul trustworthy. How important. Imagine: you surf for sandals, barefoot, watch videos, go through shopping process, measure your feet, select the size, do all the annoying purchasing process, give some money also, sure, then plan for delivery, wait for delivery, and then, at the end...you get wrong sandals. That's why trustworthiness of reviews means gold for me.

    I got 3 for me. Butt, i remember when my dog needed a tumor removed from his rectum. This would have been great to clean his surgical wound after he pooped! As it was, i used baby whipes. It about killed me to care for him, but he's doing great a year on. My vet said so many people won't care for the wounds and bring the dog back in 2 weeks for euthanasia. I will tell him about your product. Maybe it will save some pooches lives 😊.

    So how would you pack them for a multi day trip? How long could they stay fresh for?

  • @PaultheBackpacker
    @PaultheBackpacker2 ай бұрын

    This is an old video so I'd have to go back and watch it to figure out the exact recipe! Basically, whenever I bring goods I take 2 things in the consideration. one is the time of year obviously during fall winter Spring pretty much everything can stay fresh for days period if I'm going to take something during the summer, I'll make sure that I cook a little bit slower and a lower temperature to dry it out more period and as long as everything is dried out, it's normally good to go! It's the things that I bring that might have fruit and them and chunks that I would not pack for more than a couple of days in the summer period but if I grind the fruit up before baking then it just kind of dries out with the rest of the ingredients and is not an issue. Use voice to text so I hope this all made sense!

    If trying to reduce the calories from the original meal from 4,000 to 3,000 I recommend NOT getting rid of the nutritional yeast, and instead reducing a less nutritious food, because fortified nutritional yeast (the type found at most grocery stores) is a great source of vitamin B and that may otherwise be lacking in this food plan. This is very informative and well thought out. Thanks for sharing!
