I have been struck with Sporadic Fatal Inssomnia, it is horrendous.. My brain has lost it's ability to sleep, no matter how tired I am, I can not sleep. I am only sleeping at the moment through so many sedatives and they are wearing off. I sit each day quaking at what lies ahead thinking about how my death is going to pan out. It is beyond a living nightmare. I do not think it is the prion mutation but some unique pehonomenom to me. I am 53 years old which is not unque, it seems to be the age which people get it.

Hey. Also sometimes I share this, the Bible says that GOD loves us so much that he sent his son JESUS CHRIST to this earth and HE lived a perfect sinless life. And JESUS went to a cross and gave HIS life for us.And rose again in 3 days and who ever will receive JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR AND ASK HIM TO COME INTO THEIR HEART AND FORGIVE THEIR SINS,HE WILL TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN.

I tried taking citrulline but began breaking out in cold sores - same thing happens with arginine. I do take lysine when taking either of these amino acids too. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

66 years old....I'm Lean , eat lots of meat, eggs, butter, cheese, no grains, some cooked veggies, nuts.....Total Cholesterol was 258 last year, LDL was 178, ApoB was 146, triglycerides were 84, HDL was 43. New blood work two weeks ago after going almost 100% carnivore for 4 months and only 30 grams of carbs a day, lots of meat, eggs, fat, etc....Total Cholestreol 202, LDL 137, Triglycerides 78, ApoB 110. I challenge any MD to try and convince me that carbs are not the MAIN CAUSE OF HEART DISEASE.

I take both every morning. 5 grams of Arginine and 4 grams of citrulline. I use powder I mix in a glass of water. Take on an empty stomach, and wait an hour afterward to eat anything.

This is possibly the best video Ive seen of you and Dr Brewer and Vega from Prevmed Health. The way you explain those MRIs, the intro from Dr Ford Brewer. These interviews you are having are important they are so good in my opinion Dr O'Mara. The part where you explain how fat infiltrates into the spine muscles and makes it harder to hold your own upper torso is worth watching this whole video alone.

What is the difference between a yeast and a bacteria? Yeasts are eukaryotic organisms while bacteria are prokaryotic organisms. Yeasts can reproduce sexually whereas bacteria cannot. Yeast cells are generally larger than most bacteria cells. Yeasts belong to the Fungi kingdom whereas Bacteria belong to the Bacteria kingdom.

It seems the American diet of sugar causes plaque build up because of an inflammatory response from pure sugar.

I had moderate plaque in one carotid artery. The Wellness Company was marketing a supplement to combat spike proteins. I figured if it cleared clots from the Jab (I wasn't jabbed) it might clear plaque. I read the ingredients list and noticed I took most of the supplements already except two, so I just bought those two separately to add to my routine. Fast forward maybe 3 or 6 months, got an ultrasound screening of my arteries and BOOM = all clear! The tech doing the scan had access to my previous results two years prior and was astonished! If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it. My diet (too many sweets) isn't the best but I cook and bake mostly organic. Considering the amount of sugar and carbs (all homemade) my A1c levels have always been good. My endocrinologist told me years ago that I am one of the few who can eat sweets and it won't hurt me. I don't remember why though. My exercise didn't change during that time either -- weights 3x week , walking at least 2 miles 3x week. Nothing extreme. Always slim. There is room for improvement!

There is a major debate now about LDL level. When people go keto, many get a rise in LDL. The question is whether it’s a risk or not (whether LDL is just a risk in those with poor metabolic health).

A small warning if you are prone to get Uveitis. Both tadalafil and sildenafil might trigger Uveitis/Iritis, also other supplements increasing nitric oxide might have the same effect. Not much in the literature about(some cases mentioned in PUB MED though) this but i have first hand experience.

I have a high triglyceride problem (also low HDL, Low LDL) and I am taking a fenofibrate and on a low carb diet. Watch out for the fenofibrate as it elevates homocysteine levels. B12 and TMG helps counteract the homocysteine rise.

Dr. Kratz, I watched some of your videos and used your methods. It is working for me! I take anastrazole which removes estrogen from my body so it does not feed my cancer type. [Cancer has been removed though]….. and this pill has made me my glucose levels fluctuate much easier because estrogen is a glucose moderator/regulator along with other hormones of course. Without estrogen my body went out of balance and so my glucose levels started making me become diabetic even though I was eating a very healthy diet. I used your guidelines and have started pulling my baseline glucose level down so that I do not become diabetic. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! I now wear a continuous glucose monitor and exercise every day. I cannot thank you enough! ❤❤❤❤❤

What about making a slushie out of beet(root)? Yup, slightly higher chance of kidney stones but lots of lemon and acv in my salad dressing should take care of that. I chop up 3 beets in my slushie blender and store in 2 32 oz mason jars. Currently about 1/2 beet per day. Works like magic.

LDL from what I’ve studied is not an issue - people living into 90’s and 100’s all seem to have HIGH cholesterol We eat less cholesterol, our liver has to produce more The issue is triglycerides - My LDL went up but my triglycerides measure 30… LDL 176 I’ve lost 45kg (100lbs) - snoring stopped virtually shortly after my diet changed, as did my sleep apnea - so diet caused it, not being overweight - my diet - carnivore - NO CARBS 18 months in and my PSA is 0.44 where the range for my age is 0 - 4 My TriG/HDL ratio is 0.5 I want to do a CIMT test but scans have shown my visceral fat is virtually non existent - perfect the doctor said
