Watching this channel as a 23 year old. Let’s all make it to 120

Good for you! Wish I was 23 again. but that was 1968 and all we had was the 'family doctor', no KZread, no internet, "fat is bad", egg yolks are bad, meat will kill you. We've come a long way thanks to Dr Brewer, Dr Jesus, and a few other good Drs who share their knowledge online.

Why can't we skip the ads anymore on KZread? I hate being forced to wait 3 - 4 - 5 min watching ads that I don't want to see. If they don't stop, I'll begin to skip the entire video!!

Life span, health span. Don't forget money span. If you're going to live to 90, 100, 110, best start saving the money you're no longer spending on junk food. You'll need it!

Should work out about the same. Just figure your going to work into your 80’s. My grandfather milked cows until he was 87. He died at 98.

You do not need to save more money to finance a longer retirement. You only need to invest your portfolio a tiny bit more aggressively to ensure long term sustainability.

@@dontfit6380 Nonsense. If you have a decent nest egg, you can easily retire in your 60s, or even earlier depending on lifestyle, and enjoy any length of retirement you wind up having. The only ting you need to adjust is your investment strategy.

@@dlg5485 that’s all dependent on the stock market. We all know that doesn’t always pan out. With the way the countries going we’ll be lucky if anyone has a nest egg. I can’t imagine retiring at 65 and living to 100. Honestly I can’t imagine retiring. Work keeps you alive. The idea of moving to a retirement community makes my skin crawl. I’d rather be 6ft under.

@@dontfit6380 The average person will spend 30 years in retirement, so you obviously need to have a long term strategy. Of course there is short term volatility, but a diversified stock portfolio will ALWAYS go up over the long term. As long as you have adequate cash reserves to weather a downturn, you can invest the rest of your portfolio as aggressively as you can tolerate.

@DrBrewer. Two topics. You eat farmed salmon yet it contains zero omega 3 fat due to corn diet. Why not only wild? Second question on extra virgin olive oil, This oil contains zero epa dha omega 3 fats plus turns into TFAs in cooking. Why do you support extra virgin olive oils when butter causes no harm when used for cooking? I must be missing your logic on those two topics. Did I?
