I did this back in the 90s a few times (If I remember the course was different though)when we did our Amphibious Raid package. I did it just under 8 minutes and I was smooooked. Doing it under 7 is seriously moving. SOCOM dudes are studs. Good job on Austen to push through and dig deep. Off to McPs. Semper Fi

Not meaning to bash, but I love in the last part where Austin is tallying up the scores and says Nikko missed Liam by three points but it was really two. I know I know one point off, again not bashing, but it’s funny because all three branches accept it. 😂

12-mile forced road march with minimum 35 lbs sub-3hrs is not a Ranger-specific activity. It was a semi-annual requirement for my Airborne unit on Ft Bragg, along with maintaining a minimum 270 on the APFT (90 in each exercise, minimum), a 4mi formation run in 30-minutes, and maintain jump currency. But, of course we never knew when the ruck march testing was going to occur, so it wasn't something we trained-up for: we rucked constantly in order to ensure we could do a 12-miler at any time. It is a standard to maintain, not an event to work up to a couple times a year.
