    Facebook marketplace! The guy lived about 3 hours away and I committed to the drive haha it was the only trinitron of this model with the matching stand included that I could find. The only other one was 6 hours away. Paid £120 for the tv and unit together

    You should start doing one! The only real expense for me was the Sony Trinitron and stand, I already had the Wii and ps3, the little trinkets I just pick up when and where I can. I used Facebook to get the small sofa and rug, and then the cheap foam acoustic panels on the wall were just off eBay for like £12. It can be done with minimal expense if you look around!👌🏼

    @@Just_TomUKyeah, i would love to build one, the only real problem is that i am a 15yo guy, i already have the consoles i want, but i dont have space to put a crt tv, except for my attic, but it is a mess and i can't put a tv there, but probably this summer i will clean the mess and create a space with some consoles and a lg tv that my parents bought in 2005 and it has good quality, the thing that i am probably going to buy is a sound system like yours

    Hey there! I will finally be starting my retro game collection & room next year and have been looking around YT for ideas. FYI: You have the special first generation PS3. That one came in 40gb & 60gb versions I believe. They were so special because they had PS1 & PS2 backwards compatibility, a muti SD card reader & 4 USB ports. All PS3s afterwards whether fat, slim, or ultra slim had no backwards compatibility, no SD card reader, and only 2 USB ports. Try to keep that room as cool as possible & the console well ventilated as the first generation PS3s would get the YLOD (yellow light of death) because they would overheat. If you ever get the YLOD, you can "reflow" the console, which is basically redoing the solder on the mainboard & reapplying thermal paste. Thats almost always a temporary fix, as I think you can mod it to use a larger fan since the smaller fan in comparison to later models is the cause of the overheating.

    I am also balding without a beard. If you want my advice don’t shave it until you grow a beard. You will regret it, all these men who say bald is better than balding have full beards so they are ok. When you are young and have no beard or hair you will just look like you have alopecia which is worse than balding.

  • @grahamjackmacpherson6501
    @grahamjackmacpherson65012 ай бұрын

    I can relate. 44 now but i started receeding and balding around mid to late 20s. It's been a rocky road of acceptance and it still remains in my top 5 things I'd change about my appearance (we all have a secret list of this in our minds) however I've pardon the pun grown to accept it as part of the natural aging process for many men. I shave it myself with clippers, not with a completely bald look as i find it too severe, but i usually opt for a grade 2 or thereabouts all over. I still have hair on my sides, back and a bit at the top. I suppose if i were to compare it I'd say Jason Stathams hair over the years is very similar to my own. Side note i am in no way comparing myself to him other than hairline 😆 hair transplant of course is an option but it's an expensive one and treatment could be ongoing as far as i know, it's not a one and done procedure, so unless i come into a lot of cash it's not an option, and even if i did have the cash im not sure I'd do it anyway. I subscribe to the accept your imperfections and do the best with what you have philosophy. The natural look, even if it's bald can often look way better than the alternative which is often noticeably odd looking. Brave of you to post your insecurities like this, but hopefully it will help to know many men share the same issue. All the best.

  • @Just_TomUK

    Thank you for the comment and sharing! Yeah you’re totally right. I have weighed up the transplant path but I can’t afford to keep things ongoing. The first stage is acceptable and I’m coming to the point of action now. 👏🏼

    Gonna be brutally honest here man, I was balding from 24 and got a transplant last year, unbelievable how many people noticed it and the attention I’m getting. • @Just_TomUK

    Yeah man I’ve seen a few people who have had it, for me it’s the cost, if I had £1000 sat spare for hair transplant I’d be putting it into other things for my family, kids etc. to me the procedure, cost, medication and prolonged upkeep isn’t worth it. But to those like yourself who have been able to do it, and feel better for it. That’s a win 💪🏼 glad you felt elated from it bud. Thanks for the comment 🙏🏼

    If you ask me, you should consider a hair transplant after 3-4 years if you don't want any medications. Good donor area while you still already have hair "mid-scalp" that you can preserve with medication if you want to. My friend was almost norwood 7, got his first HT at 36 and his results were amazing "hairline and mid-scalp" on his first operation, will get second one to cover his crown, all of that while his donor are wasn't that great, it made him look 10 years younger with much confidence. Don't give up on your hair, consult a good doctor, balding doesn't look good on everyone especially if you don't have good full beard.

I'm 25 just got my full time job and just getting by with money so my doctor prescribed me 5 mg finasteride which gets reimbursed by health insurance (I live in Germany), I only have to break it into 4 parts but it works the same. Side effect wise I have not experienced anything and statistically only 5% of people are affected by side effects. If you happen to have side effects, just getting off of it will solve it. Try giving it a second look :)

    I still have this iPod touch still on iOS 1.1.5 so hasn't been updated since the earlier part of 2008. Can't really do much of anything online, however the offline apps work fine. In fact to be able to sync music and videos to it, I actually had to hunt down an old version of iTunes made around 2008 to 2009 since the new version of iTunes wouldn't recognize the iPod. I guess because its software has been outdated for so many years. So for things like playing music or videos on the device or using the calculator or notes app, it still works perfectly fine, but don't expect to be able to use Facebook or KZread with it or really anything that requires internet. Also iOS 1.1.5 was still a version that came out before the App Store even existed, so the apps that were included was all you got. Also this was a time when Microsoft Windows Vista was the latest and greatest operating system for PCs.

    Lots of solutions today tom. You have a lot of hair still. Lots of solutions today. More than ever. Dont give up. You can get a monthly payment on that. Not sure what transplants cost where you are but its only 6k here in the states. Youre still young and believe it or not you still have a lot of hair left. At the very least get a good comb or brush to stimulate you scalp to keep the blood flow to the hairs. Ask the doctor if you can crush the tablets. They are very tiny tablets. You can even put the pill in your food. Rogaine is pretty cheap. Well good luck and keep positve.
