Gonna be brutally honest here man, I was balding from 24 and got a transplant last year, unbelievable how many people noticed it and the attention I’m getting. It’s a personal choice but I 100% recommend considering a transplant if you can get the cash together. Best decision I ever made without question. Good luck!

Yeah man I’ve seen a few people who have had it, for me it’s the cost, if I had £1000 sat spare for hair transplant I’d be putting it into other things for my family, kids etc. to me the procedure, cost, medication and prolonged upkeep isn’t worth it. But to those like yourself who have been able to do it, and feel better for it. That’s a win 💪🏼 glad you felt elated from it bud. Thanks for the comment 🙏🏼

I can relate. 44 now but i started receeding and balding around mid to late 20s. It's been a rocky road of acceptance and it still remains in my top 5 things I'd change about my appearance (we all have a secret list of this in our minds) however I've pardon the pun grown to accept it as part of the natural aging process for many men. I shave it myself with clippers, not with a completely bald look as i find it too severe, but i usually opt for a grade 2 or thereabouts all over. I still have hair on my sides, back and a bit at the top. I suppose if i were to compare it I'd say Jason Stathams hair over the years is very similar to my own. Side note i am in no way comparing myself to him other than hairline 😆 hair transplant of course is an option but it's an expensive one and treatment could be ongoing as far as i know, it's not a one and done procedure, so unless i come into a lot of cash it's not an option, and even if i did have the cash im not sure I'd do it anyway. I subscribe to the accept your imperfections and do the best with what you have philosophy. The natural look, even if it's bald can often look way better than the alternative which is often noticeably odd looking. Brave of you to post your insecurities like this, but hopefully it will help to know many men share the same issue. All the best.

Thank you for the comment and sharing! Yeah you’re totally right. I have weighed up the transplant path but I can’t afford to keep things ongoing. The first stage is acceptable and I’m coming to the point of action now. 👏🏼

If you ask me, you should consider a hair transplant after 3-4 years if you don't want any medications. Good donor area while you still already have hair "mid-scalp" that you can preserve with medication if you want to. My friend was almost norwood 7, got his first HT at 36 and his results were amazing "hairline and mid-scalp" on his first operation, will get second one to cover his crown, all of that while his donor are wasn't that great, it made him look 10 years younger with much confidence. Don't give up on your hair, consult a good doctor, balding doesn't look good on everyone especially if you don't have good full beard.

Shave it brother. Better to look like a skinhead than goofy. I am 20 and balding hard even with minoxidil so yeah it ain't worth it. Gotta embrace ourselves and accept the fact we are getting shiny :X

Bull. There are so many ways to get your hair back or healthy. Telling g this guy to shave it is giving up. He has a lot of donor hair there and with minoxidil and finestride he can get a full head of hair. Geez so many solutions today and you give up.

@@danceswithcomicbooks7733 yeah, being goofy isn’t a solution, Finasteride blocks DHT , dht is testosterone after change from 5a-reductor which contributes to male characteristics. So the moment u start blocking it is the moment u start losing ur masculinity. Fin has also many more terrible side effects. Have 2 friends that take it 1 cant get it up and has gynecomastia from it, the other one just can’t get it up, so yeah its not giving up, its being a man and not a princess

You can go hair transplant if you feel that bad. I went and made it I am happy about it. I had the same balding type and also I was hiding the top from the sides. It is horrible feeling to wash your hair every morning to hide I know what you feel. If you do not want to make hair transplant you can shave your head and start fitness. You'll be better shape than before.

Again, it’s cost. I don’t want to spend thousands on transplants nor do I have the funds to do that. I’d rather spend that on working on a project car as a passion I want to do. I do plan to get more into fitness to bulk up, I worry I look too thin for being bald.
