Prequels were awesome. Glad to see people finally appreciating them now. I would say do the sequel trilogy instead, but those cannot be saved.
I've never sat down and watched the US Taskmaster (I hate Lisa Lampanelli with a passion and refuse to watch anything she's in) but the thing I noticed from the clips I've seen is that the US version treats the show like it's supposed to be genuinely competative while the UK one feels like a group of friends hanging out and having a laugh.

Nah. I couldn't help but feel that if these had been relesaed in order (and were better films) Order 66 would have blown minds back in the 1980s - have the victorious good guys absolutely blitzed out of nowhere, leaving only the core characters alive, and promising more. Would have made the Red Wedding look lame.

I think this downplays hard the impact of Qui-Gon. He is such a pivotal player in the first movie. The whole movie takes place from his reference cause he was the wise “rebellious” master who worked with the will of the force not the light side. So he was able to sense Anakin & the importance of him. It sets up Obi-Wan as the funny but very by the book master that he becomes who was given anakin to train by his former master, not by his choice. This matches him throughout the series consistently. Qui-Gon plays an important part in this movie, as his death is way more meaningful as it lets on. As He was the one to discover the chosen one, he was meant to train him & be the father figure anakin needed. While Obi-Wan filled this role to a limited capacity, anakin really needed Qui-Gon. With this version, sadly it removes the necessity & importance of Qui-Gon fatherly/mentor relationship with anakin. It’s a key importance with how Anakin turns. If Qui-Gon had trained Anakin, without a doubt he would have never turned. This was a great take on the series as a whole, keep it up.

i disagree that alex should be the taskmaster of the US version, but i do think Aubrey Plaza would be an amazing taskmaster. i think Anthony Jeselnik would be a great pick for the taskmaster too

When anakin becomes general of the jedis, i want it to be a reveal to the jedis and for the jedis to see it almost as something bad, and a shot of obi wan being like: what have i done
I would add that, after saying « but ill never be a jedi master will i » he doesnt push obi wan, but rather obi wan throws his kighrsaber away just as hes about to strike maul, then anakin force pushes obi wan and chockes maul. But i think its more shoking if he simply decapitates him right after finishing his sentence.
