So apparently there will be 4 versions per card. the normal ver, the foiled ver with the jolly roger markings, the full art ver (i guess for commons, uncommons, maybe rares? but surely not super rares and secret rares cuz they're already in default full art) and the last version is the parallel art ver. We saw this with the st01 chopper, he has the normal, foiled, and full art, but additionally the parallel version. I'm pointing this out cuz man, this set offers a bunch of versions per card! Not to mention the whole lot of dons. My god!

For me personally its way too much new product being released way too quickly. It doesn't give people enough of a break wallet wise and then theres the supply issue. I'd be fine with only 3 sets a year and starter decks throughout seeing as they contain exclusive cards only for the most part. If supply weren't an issue, then I'd be fine with them releasing as much product as they like but thats not the case. I'm actually leaning more towards just buying singles for the decks I want to play since trying to keep up isn't viable anymore. Lgs are taking advantage of their customers and when you do find one that sells at a good price, they never have enough. I know that for competetive players opening packs doesn't matter but for those of us that want to collect and play, it makes it really difficult to do so.

Seeing a non Yugioh physical tcg do power level errata that isn’t like “Hey we literally had a typo in file and this isn’t what it was supposed to be” feels weird. Seeing a triple threat is super weird. Feels like it should’ve just been the Shift requirement first

When TCG’s pull an errata this big, they need to offer a trade in where you can trade in your pre-errata card (regardless of condition so long as it’s playable.) for a properly errata’d card. If it’s just an errata to simplify wording then i get not doing that, but if you’re literally changing what it does or statistics, then it’s unfair to owners and people playing against owners of the cards that may not know it’s been errata’d.

feels like the vanilla luffy could be relevant someday. it's got three types, a new red yellow egghead leader could come out, or a four emperors one. and it's still searchable by straw hat crew obviously

Shanks effect is amazing and very underrated. "only a 1k counter" bruh it can save 1 card per turn. And can be activated whenever during the turn, so the threat of cancelling an attack is there until you activate it... it is amazing

Hot take: So Shanks in the show has the ability to make people question Whether or not they want to mess with him or not because of his conquers haki right? He has that intimidation thing going for him. I think his ability is going to be relevant with the cards in the players life rather than the cards on the field. If you could imagine a card or character with a trigger that allows you to KO something with 5000/6000 power or less, then his skill of reducing attack on the opponents turn is a lot more relevant.
