If they change the numbering to PRB01-001 then that would mean you could use the same card twice and have up to 8 copies of broken cards!

Why do I remember that the new starter decks was supposed to have reprint of hard to get cards? Was I confused? Was this the set? Cause I was hoping to get my hands on cards like borsalino blocker, and SEC katakuri in the decks 😢

That was an unsubstantiated rumor that was spread around so much that people started taking it as truth. They never not even once said the starter decks would have reprints of old cards in them! People (including myself to be completely honest) just thought that would be the case since the leaders for these new starter decks were reprints of old leaders we've already had and they were doing one for each color. So it made sense that they would potentially include reprints in those starter decks, but that was never explicitly stated and as more teasers get released, it's beginning to look more and more like there won't be, or at least a lot less of the decks will be reprints than what was initially believed. That said, yes, PRB-01 WILL be basically ALL reprints with a few exceptions. So we ARE still getting them, just not in the way that was initially believed.

Idk. Pulling a move like reprinting all the manga rares might get rid of a bunch of scalpers, allowing more people to get their hands on product since for some reason bandai can’t produce enough product to have them readily available in stores

Ross, YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE NUMBERING. Changing the numbering would make them different cards, allowing players to play more than 4 copies of the same cards! The numbering is the card ID number, it is what identifies the card. Think of it like this: it could even create a situation where you could use a banned card! Say that great eruption was here, with a PRB numbering. Well, since the banned card is "ST06-whatever number" Great Eruption, you could use the PRB version!

The more I see the more I am really disliking this set. It's absolutely the best set for people who missed out on a lot of cards in the older set and absolutely the worst set for those that didn't. If none of the base cards get new art then essentially we're going to be buying tons of packs of cards we don't need just to get the alts or be forced to buy them separately if we want them, and I imagine the prices aren't going to be that low because of a lot of people not wanting to buy packs. They should have either made every card have new art or none of them. I was somewhat interested in the Don but I really don't like that the Don are essentially going to have 3 versions of them. I'm not a fan of the reverse holo regular cards either based on their look so far, but maybe they look better in person. The full art regular cards seems kinda lazily done as well. Lastly the lack of numbering is a bit bothersome. I know they couldn't change the card code because people would be able to use more than 4, but what they could do is still have a PRB# above that.

Yes personally don’t like it as much as the first one. I love the nod to the anime but idk, just looks lackluster as opposed to the old one! It’s a shame because I’m with him that I love manga/anime nods

Funny people think the cost of some of these cards are going down when there is better arts of the same over priced cards. The price won't go down on the old cards and the price of the reprint alts will be high I bet

Mihawk has already dropped 60 percent in price on the reveal are you bugging or just talking crazy… Katakuri was 60 plus just a week ago it’s already down to 50. What analysis or numbers are you looking at to come to your conclusion. Shanks was already down in the dumps every reprint brings down a cards price that’s why collectors and scalpers hate reprints 😂😂😂
