American Poolplayers Association - APA
American Poolplayers Association - APA
APA is the World's Largest Pool League with Leagues in the U.S., Canada, Japan, and Singapore. We conduct four major pool tournaments each year - the APA Poolplayer Championships, APA Junior Championships, APA World Pool Championships and U.S. Amateur Championships where over $2 Million is awarded annually. In 2010, Guinness named the APA World Pool Championships the World's Largest Pool Tournament!
APA has also been recognized as one of the top small business and home-based franchise opportunities in the world.
One of the keys to the success of the APA is The Equalizer®, the unique handicapping and scoring system that makes it possible for players of different playing abilities - especially novices and beginners - to compete on an equal basis.
Come Have Fun, Meet People, Play Pool in the APA!

All man team beats an all woman team every time. Change my mind
These 4s shot so well🔥
Konnor is very good and ran lucky too.
Just what I was working on today - my English, but I never could get it to work. Gonna have to try this now! Thanks for sharing!
That is a world championship?
Someone taught this young man to have a snooker stance. Very unusual but I like it
i dont think a skill level difference like this should even be allowed. honestly its a cruelty and a disservice to the lower skilled player and an insult to the spirit of the game.
I am a fairly novice player and still struggle with shots and leaves (LOL!). What I learned is that applying FHE vs BHE is something to watch for. Also . . . CIT is a big thing when applying english (side spin). Just my limited experience/struggle sharing.
I hate when yall have no faith in shooters
The kid who’s just a shooter just got drilled lol
Learned a lot! Simple info He's a great instructor!
Valuable info! Easy instructions! Really enjoyed video!
at the 3:17:00 mark, game 2 between the 7's. The one fellow broke and made a couple of stripes and a solid, but scratched. His oppenent then shot a stripe and missed. He then shot a stripe and a foul was called for shooting stripes. Now, when he broke and scratched the table was open. When his opponent missed, it was still open. How could that have been a foul ?
rules question. At the 2:03:09 mark the young lady shooting was having to kick at the 5 ball. She called a timeout and her captain placed a cube of chalk on the rail as an aiming point for her kick shot. I thought that was not legal in qualifiers and above. She fouled anyway by hitting her opponents ball first, but I'm curious about the rule. That came up last week in one of my league matches as I placed a cube for my lower ranked player to aim for.
Fantastical game Cameron!! Way to stay focused and find that Zen mode to clear those racks! 🏆🎱
Besutiful delivery of the cue from konnor
We love Bob, he's a legend! And I try to keep superstition out of it or I'll end up with 45 rituals to do or else I'll lose lol
This guy never relaxed. Is this the biggest beatdown in APA history?
That 1 rail kick pocketing the 1 around 27:55...hmmm...SL 4?
It may seem trivial to those who wear cutoffs and tank-tops to a pool venue, but nice to see this guy not only collared shirt, but old-school tucked in.
They seriously need to get different commentators. This is actually painful to listen to. :|
New Port Richey!!!!
I just want to clarify what you’re saying… because I am trying to be better!!!! …even when you put English on, you act like the right or left is center, square up your body as if that is center of the cue? Shoot straight through and line up your shot “pretending” left or right is center to make the cue ball do what you want? Do you have any advice on the power used for that type of shot? Is it better to just be gentle and follow through or will the cue ball end up where you want even if you hammer it?
Nice work Cameron! Congratulations!
Congratulations Tyler Ramos! You played great! In the years to come I'm sure we will see you in many championships!
Why Why Why did he not play more safeties? You may be making those hard shots on a normal day, but you should've realized by rack 2 it's not that kind of day.
Why is my heart pounding on a match that was one month ago
Why do players stroke their stick while observing the table? Is there a reason/purpose for doing that? I’m sure there’s a joke in there somewhere.😂
Feeling up grip with their rear hand
Why not stay with the overhead camera for the whole match?
I can see why she’s a 2 but can’t figure out how he’s a 9? A level 9 in my city will break and run all night.
Clearly Jason Bowman knows little about pool and doesn't seem very interested in the matches as they're played . Feels need to constantly talk and draws attention away from the game being played. Extremely annoying. I'd put it on mute but would miss Ava's comments. Bowman is just so annoying. Please learn to lay back.
U have a gift for teaching JJ
Wow how did they make it this far
I’ll be there in August should be fun
Wow, it must be nerves, because they are shooting like 4 s
The subtitles are all wrong and it’s funny 😂
11:00 Pretty sure there's chalk on that tip man, you've only been rubbing it on there for the past 30 seconds...
The best advice I ever got from a seasoned player was "pratice how you play". This was the point Jeremy was trying to make.
QUESTION: APA NATIONAL CAN'T GIVE A STRAIGHT ANSWER. Foul or not Foul. Opponent: has used his one time out during the rack. ME: I am on the 8 ball and mark the pocket. correctly but miss. Opponent: another teammate runs to the table and marks the 8 ball pocket for him to shoot. Rule is only one coach allowed at the table for a time out? Opponent has no more timeouts. Used it earlier in the game. Teammate marked the pocket for his player to shoot. While i can find no rule that says the PLAYER has to mark the pocket, the rule says: if a player does not mark the pocket it is a ball in hand. If a player has used his timeout, Then the foul occurred when 1) another player marked the pocket, 2) another player went to the table without a timeout, 3) the player did not mark the pocket.
She hit the fourteen first
This is one of the best APA matches I've seen
I just got done with WQ in Tunica, MS. They put up an 8, yet I'm a 2. It was a tough fight, but i did beat him. I needed a defibulator and nitroglycerin, but i did it.
Wish VNEA paid out like APA.
Unless you win state and go to Vegas APA payouts aren’t anything special.
Great match! At 8/8 turned off sound ( replaced with music ). Really good amateur pool. You'd almost think they were pros and not APA skill level 7s.
I've just looked through the comments and I feel sorry for all those who must have a label. The front hand is not moved so it's not FHE. The back hand is not moved so it's not BHE. And there's no parallel shift involved either! Dear me, what will the poor label seekers do?
Simply the best!
Super obvious foul at 50:00 but nobody calls it lol. No ball hit a rail after contact.
He hit the stripe first then rail
Sorry Abrin. You should't play in amateur pool. No pros APA.
Their strokes are atrocious for Masters players. Not that they aren’t great shot makers and have a lot of experience in terms of shot selection, but I would’ve expected to see some more “beautiful” pool here
