Jeremy Jones is a genius of this game, he understands literally everything about the game and pool is one of the most complicated games in the world. Good job pal!

Which he could use that genius to win US a Mosconi cup, instead of 5+ straight loses. If JJ a genius, Johan must be the GOAT.

Hey Jeremy, good stuff. The "pause" at the end of the backstroke is always a good discussion. As you mentioned, some pros do, and some don't. I personally don't have a pause. I lose the feel for the shot if I do pause. I concentrate on a smooth back swing and smooth forward transition. On another note, last year, I posted a video on how to shoot a certain shot. A fella named Chris Jones chimed in. During the conversation, it was obvious he really knew what he was talking about. I asked him if he was Jeremy Jones's brother. He said he was. I believed him because of his obvious, deep understanding of the game of pool. You obviously would know. Anyway, thought I would mention that. Even though I've been playing for decades, I enjoy your instructional videos.

It's amazing how well a preshot routine works. See your shot and where you want to end up. Pay extra attention to how you come down on the ball. Pause. One stroke for aim,one for speed, and one extremely important thing. The back swing before delivery. This will make or break everything. Drive all the way through the ball. That's what works for me. This video has really, really helped my consistency. Thanks so so much I would add. If your struggling with a poke stroke then use your full bridge length, I struggled with this until realizing I'm not utilizing my full bridge length when needed. A good line and smooth stroke will allow you to make balls with your eyes closed. I tried it.

This must be the "pause" before the back swing. LOL
