That is a throw if I’ve ever seen one. I know pros don’t hit every shot but they make way better consistent contact than what I’m seeing.

Every team is sus now for losing an upset? Lol. Also that McDonald's application just killed me 😂😂😂

I dont think theyre throwing, but Furia having literally nothing to play for and coming in so rusty cause they didnt bother practicing is another reason this format is fuckin awful, teams should be incentivised to win at all times. The fact their salaries are probably comfortably more than the qualifier payouts are is not good

I admittedly don't know much how it all works, but wouldn't this really be the fault of how RLCS and the point system is setup to even allow "throwing" to be an abusable option? Shouldn't the tournament be structured in a way that doesn't make "throwing" beneficial?

I hate the term throwing. They’re human. They’ll make mistakes and have off games. It happened to me when I used to play. It happens to everyone we can’t expect them to be human 100% of the time

You can tell from the comments who binge watched EU and who has never watched a SAM split. SAM, while there is some highlights, is playing in 2021 with 2024 speed as far as quality goes. You see this 24/7 on SAM, normally not out of FUria, but it is earmarked SAM RL. Even the first one he found suspicious he could have easily turned expecting his teammate to be rotating behind him then he got demo'd and he lost track. That whole play happened in a fraction of a second from the demo onward. They played badly, they haven't been practicing much, there is nothing here that is blatant for me because unlike 90% of the people in here commenting I actually watch SAM and it is this type of GC3/SSL rocket league with weird unexpected unforced errors often. the 5 second left 3-1 also was one where he physically could not reach the ball with the boost he had so I'm not sure why that's clipped in. If he had not of jumped, or delayed his jump, the situation would have been identical.

If there was previous suspicion that Furia would throw for there friends to benefit and then play that badly, I think its quite blatent. If you throw skillfully maybe it's impossible to decide a ban. But motive is everything.

Bro Johnny, Im sorry but you are not being objective here in most cases. A lot of these clips is just plain throwing while I agree some of them could be explained by a players possible thought process, but still this is match fixing at its finest!
