They mention the other regions quite regularly. If you're watching the Preshow they have a "around the world" chapter where they talk about the minor regions. Also last qualifier they raided rocket Street live when the stream was over. So they do advertise it your just not paying attention.

you can watch it in Rocket Street SAM which is the official broadcast, ORGs also broadcast, the complexity stream has a guy narrating in english and one narrating in spanish

also, the state in brazil where swiftt 15yo from NiP lives, Rio Grande do Sul, is facing a gigantic flood right now, which is one of the biggest climate tragedies in Brazil recently. he literally had to go out of his house in a boat and then go in a car to other state where he would have eletric energy and be able play the main event. the qualifiers for top 16 were played by their coach Fasi since swiftt didn't have internet and eletric energy to play

For those who are interested in knowing how SAM is doing, I will tell you how it is (I am Brazilian). The top 1 is Furia. The top 2 is currently between these 3 teams: NIP (Ninjas in Pyjamas), TS (Team Secret) and COL (Complexity). Perhaps even KRU, with its new team, is capable of going against these giants. The top 3 is between Hero Base and W7M (remembering that Royales from the W7M team is playing with a broken arm). We also have a promising new player named Suco, who practically alone managed to give a lot of work to the SAM giant, Furia, with incredible defenses. He is now on the True Neutral team. Another very interesting team has arrived in SAM called RED, which can go far. Now, going back to the team rankings, as it is difficult to select the teams that could be top 4 and 5, I will talk about the other teams that are in the top 16 or that are capable of reaching the top 16: Timeless, Gamer Legion, True Neural, Barcelona, Team Mazus, Not Exposed, Shaman,Erased and RED. Edit:I just wanted to say that this day was the craziest thing that happened in SAM, not even us Brazilians expected so much craziness like Furia losing in the Finals against NIP and neither did she go through all this difficulty against Hero Base. If you see the other games that Furia had in this same qualifier you would realize that they were playing badly and we also didn’t expect Complexity to lose to True Neutral (True Neutral just changed the team so they are not very united but we expect a lot from the team that True Neutral has now which is Suco, Misery and Mazikeen) and also Diaz is a bit lost he is a very offensive player but he is being forced to play more behind because although he and Crr have a good connection as a team he and Reysbull do not have such a good connection but we also expect great feats from them and more in the top 8 teams things are much more balanced and exciting. There is also a chance that South America sends 2 new teams for Major 2 (Secret and NIP) if Furia gets knocked out in quarters and both Secret and NIP reach the final, the loser would have to play Furia in a tiebreaker for the second spot, crazy

I knew Johnny was gonna talk about this game once I saw that crazy kickoff goal

Rocket Street Live is the stream that shows SAM. They also strem for a long time to make sure you get all your drops

I actually feel like these superteams that have been built like furia and G2 and GenG have actually raised the floor of their regions as a whole, not taken away from talent. It makes me even more amped for lan scenarios and lan as a whole with how many different teams can make lan

They really need to adjust the times of all the regions so that they can all be broadcast on the main stream back to back to back. Even if its in the local language of the region having them on the main stream would help so much with exposure. (Though i think it would be awesome to get an English stream for every region that runs all day on the main twitch account)

That wouldn't be possible without making a region like SAM have to play at unreasonable times. Either too early in the day where younger players will be at school or so late it just isn't fair on them.

I can tell you, the last games from SAM were starting to be broadcasted a little bit before NA finals, so yeah there was a chance that the main RL channels could do it, but no worries because Rocket Street has you covered

The start of the game tells you everything you need to know about SAM, a second into the game and there's a shot pinched into someones net that was pre flip saved into a rebound shot redirected into the crossbar 😂😂 beautiful, never change SAM.

@@ashtonjack yeah, I agreee overall. But knowing how both epic and the esport coordinators were about the first major a spot being moved is unfortunately more realistic. But OCE should really be kept at 2 max though.

SAM improved a lot. The fact they can grind with a major region such as NA it helps a lot.

Bro why don’t they stream on the main channel everyone would watch it im a huge SAM fan, but its hard to know when they actually play, also all the other regions are gonna stay minor if they don’t give them the attention they deserve, they aren’t minor they have earned there spots and then some give them the respect and make more major regions

They need to do better showing all of the other regions streams tbh. SSA had 600 concurrent viewers last regional while mobulas team stream had 650.

Add spots to every region and change the format/expand swiss. SA needs 4 spots, NA and EU deserve 5 spots, MENA deserves 3-4

Only heard negativity regarding Diaz’s communication with team play. Obviously regular ranked isn’t playing with your rlcs team, but Diaz definitely has an ego that needs to be checked if they’re going to pass up furia.

If SAM really wants to have a good chance to win RLCS then Diaz should go to Furia, with Yanx and Diaz playing together then they will be top tier, on the same level of teams like Falcons, BDS, Vitality, etc.
