  I am a Dodgers fan, and I disagree with the umpires. Although they did most likely make the correct call, the ball still landed in the second baseman lap, Causing the runners to stay at their base.

  Agree with Jomboy on players competing without notes, but it is not cheating and/or stealing if a player/team has their own notes. Completely disagree with the notion that they dropped the notes and therefore it is their fault for the other team/player stealing/taking it and using it to simply cheat. They asked for it back, that tells you exactly what is going on, this is a simple integrity issue and disappointed that you don't see that Jomboy. I hope you don't ever drop anything and heaven forbid you do not blame the person for "picking it up" and worse, blaming you for dropping it in the first place. Then the next level, you ask for it back and they give you pathetic reasoning to not return it as this guy did. Next step that is okay, ripping it off players wrist and applying Jomboy logic about not having notes or making it easily accessible and thus it was your fault. Making the game so great with this thought process.

  I think it's a good rule for safety purposes & as long as it's called for teams, it's fair. This catcher doesn't realize it's for his safety & longevity (money). Every catcher has to make the adjustment that's been there for a long time.
