It appears to be Mavericks radio announcer Chuck Cooperstein. I think the google image looks similar to the guy in the clip

Now that I think of it, I think him and Mike Breen have to host the Finals sometime. That would be the commentary of the ages...

If Favre had just simply run out of bounds Vikings had a chance at the game winning FG, that’s where his all or nothing act really cost his team

5 years later and I still kick myself for doing that. I wanted to include the hat trick clips solely because of that call, but I mistakenly cropped it too short. Someone else commented this a couple years ago, and I still feel bad

Any highlights of the 97, 99 and 2002 finals make me queasy because I know the Avs would have flattened the Flyers, Sabres and Hurricanes. So close to 5 cups in 7 years…

Are fog/air horns not allowed at games anymore? Those things had to have made Pacific Coliseum deafening in the Stanley Cup Finals.

That had to kill Rangers fans when Zelepukin got away with a hook seconds before the Guerin breakaway goal. And then again in Game 7 when Zelepukin scored with 7 seconds left to force OT. It ultimately went the Rangers way in the end. But Zelepukin was definitely a fly in the Rangers ointment.

I was at this game in a luxury box just opposite Gagne when he scored in OT. I got to see the puck go in before the crowd reacted. One of the best games I’ve ever seen.

I been waiting 49 years for another cup.......i will probably die before they win it again......6 trips to the finals since the last cup......i remember each loss well. Damnitalltohell

I love & Miss Gary Thorne! At least I got to hear him for a bit… when he was calling Orioles baseball! I heard on numerous occasions that he was a little drunk up in the booth. I think that’s awesome! 😂 Oh! I still say if the capitals would’ve held on to that first game(Up 4-2 in the 3rd) I think that would’ve been a whole different series back in 98! The capitals were that magic team! I am not saying they would’ve won the cup, but I think it would’ve been a different series! Also…Need to have him call Ovie’s record breaking goal when he surpasses the great one in goals! ❤❤
