Gary Thorne and Bill Clement were ESPN's best play-by-play duo ever.

Forget ESPN. They were the best hockey broadcasters that ever existed.
Fun fact: 1995 was the only year in which Lord Stanley's Cup was not awarded on ESPN or ABC during the years specified (FOX had the deciding game that year).

Mike Emrick on the call in that game. He'd give many more iconic calls on NBC.
Younger devils fans may be shocked to see their team not only appear in a few of these, but winning them too. It’s really sad how that franchise deteriorated after 2012

That & seeing Steve Yzerman handing the Stanley Cup to Vladimir Konstantinov, who was in a wheelchair after a terrible car accident.
0:43, “THE WAITING IS OVER! THE NEW YORK RANGERS ARE THE STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS! AND THIS ONE WILL LAST A LIFETIME!!!!!!”-Sam Rosen.
My grandma got John Vanbiesbrouck to autograph a picture of him looking incredibly dejected with the cup winning puck in the net and Sakic celebrating behind him.

Yes, I mentioned that in the description. I still included it because it was still in the time period where ESPN had NHL rights and I didn't want to skip it. ESPN also aired games 2 and 3 of that series.
