Gus Johnson Best College Basketball Calls (March Madness)

Спорт

Gus Johnson's best NCAA basketball calls! Subscribe if you enjoyed! Gus Johnson called NCAA Tournament for CBS from 1996 until 2011. Some iconic games Gus has been on the call for include Gonzaga/UCLA (2006), Florida/Gonzaga (1999), and Xavier/Kansas State (2010). He also called a couple of games from Davidson's Elite 8 run where Steph Curry emerged as a star. Johnson, employed by Fox since leaving CBS in 2011, is known for his infectious energy and passion, and he has certainly given us and continues to give us passion-filled calls, whether in basketball, football, or whatever sport he calls.
This video contains mainly clips from March Madness, but there are a fair share of non-NCAA Tournament games as well. I made sure to put his best and most well-known calls while also supplying some lesser-known ones. Also, since the 2000's weren't exactly the best for video quality, some of these clips look like they were filmed with a potato. However, Gus Johnson's amazing calls can still be heard.
I do not own any of these clips. All rights and credit goes to the NCAA and the owners of the clips.

True. Considering that the historical matchups always seem to fall on his lap. From the very beginning. His first march madness game was #15 Princeton upsetting the defending national champions and #2 UCLA in 1996

Can we just analyze young Steph Curry not finding any place to shoot on that final possession in the Davidson/Kansas game. I mean after the one guy fell, either dish it off or try to draw a pick to get an open look instead of dribbling into a double-team and forcing a bad shot from a teammate off the pass. Who knew he makes bad decisions 😂
