The stab always "looks" underwhelming compared to the swing hits for good reason. The stab is significantly more powerful when your opponent is coming towards you, adding their momentum to the strike. That whole thing is absolutely deadly

I think that an adventurer carrying gear on his back would normally have opted for a simple bedroll with extra clothing and small additional items rolled inside it. This is what Aragorn and Gimli did in The Lord of the rings. Also, they might carry a satchel or haversack over their shoulders for food items.

More unnecessary nerdery: Why don't we put sharpening stones on the opening of the saya so as you draw the katana, it sharpens the blade to undo any potential blunting that resting it edge down could do?

Shad you are NOT your provider! GOD IS! there is literally NOTHING he can't do and NOTHING in provisions health healing wealth family etc that he will not GIVE you and then MULTIPLY! EVERY ONE of those castles WILL be built and they will only be the first. GOD does not have cash flow problems. Don't try to figure out how he is going to do it just trust he has already done it and he will Cary you into that joy and that season in our lives and he will NOT allow you to screw up or fail. HE is our provider. There is no problem or lack or short coming of yours or mine or other people or situations or anything else including the laws of physics that are in ANY way a hindrance to him. STOP thinking about what YOU Can't do and begin celebrating for what HE has ALREADY DONE.

I've heard enough tales about life or death struggles to know that a heavy rock is still man's greatest weapon. They can be found (or carried if you're strong enough) anywhere! And when you get good with a stone you can kill way more than two birds with one. The trick? Big rock, little birds. But the same principle applies in combat as well! 😂

Do you think the added friction from the tap may have allowed easy guidance for the blade? It seems like the shield when his directly has a small chance of reflecting some of that inertia by not giving the beak something solid to press again. Meanwhile hits on the tap seem to go through. I'm thinking the tap might really help angle to blade better by giving it something to latch into midswing instead of allowing it to glance off like how you could stab a slab of wood with a sharp blade easier than you could like a well made plastic cutting board. We should do test for this but I'm very curious to hear other peoples thoughts on this. I might even take it to reddit.

Just a heads up, it is really hard to force KZread's search to bring up your Shadlands channel. TWICE it tried to force me onto the World of Warcraft Shadowlands trailer and related videos. It actually changed my search result to "Shadowlands" the first time. Second time it said "Did you mean Shadowlands?" and I had to click the option to search Shadlands instead. Which is funny because I absolutely HATE that expansion.

I highly doubt this will be red over or even make an impact. But I know my brain. If I don't say it here, I know it won't let me forget that I didn't. I had wondered why Sellsword's content hasn't been showing up in my feeds as of late. I found him pretty... high and mighty, but a lot of people give off that air at first blush. Even you, Shad. But where you take the time to sit down and calmly discuss what is going wrong, at the time of writing this I still worry your channel will just stop posting one day. Sellsword always gave off the feel of, "If you saw it in an anime, cartoon, movie, or even online, it is wrong." Which, I've seen more than a few content makers bend that storyline. Some make a full living off of such type of content. (English IS my first and mostly only language, I just stopped caring to get the sentences right so long as I'm understood. Sorry about that honestly.) But, those people often just frame those things as jokes to be poked fun of and them move on. And for the most part, that's what I saw from his content that ended up in my feed. Unlike you, I never saw a point in subscribing to his content as it would end up in my feeds, I'd watch it, get a laugh, or even a little insight in how, maybe, I should make a character move while using a sword. But, no reason to go back to his content. There's another sword's men I liked who also hasn't ended up in my feed too... Now, that might have nothing to do with this event that I'm sorely late to, but it also does line up with it. I try to look at everyone the same. I do not trust you without seeing your work. I've seen far too many great edits to know things can be easily twisted into making more sense than they should. I hope this has blown over for you all given the channel's life hangs not too far from a very bad edge and all. Now, I'll say this as a closer. You earned a lot of respect from me, that you already had from other videos where you had addressed things. Being honest these days opens you up for a lot of people wanting to do you harm for nothing more than to do so. That's not an easy thing to think on, but it is oddly easy to get hit by. (Low key would love to see a co-lab between Shadiversiry and Kentucky Ballistics, and maybe even the Slowmo Guys.) I wish you all well, safety, and good health. Aloha.

The reason why they did not constantly adjust the size of the light sabers is to make sure they didn’t cut off something on their own body.

...one of your most stupid videos: 18 minutes of irrelevant, absolutly unhistoric and technicaly wrong stuff - and your pseudo-medieval metal breastplate is of very poor quality with a absolut unhistoric construction - so what is the point of your video besides feeding the drogon of algorithm...????? And what is this an absolut nonsense "costume": a poorly made pseudo-brigantine pimped up with fantasy/LARP leather pouldrons, kind of steampunk ammo pouches on the belt and this stupid unhistoric leather thingis on the forearm...OMG....

also the people do not wear any armor worth anyhthing even with the shield they can pretty easily be stabbed through or shot through so wearing just like some chainmail or just anything thats stabproof. now i understand its a desert planet and it gets very hot but even troops from other planets dont wear any good armor.
