Connor- Henson and Danielle's oldest
Haidyn- Henson and Danielle's middle
Brooks- Henson and Danielle's youngest
Jasper- Henson's nephew
The Famous Todd- Danielle's brother
(Jerry and Nancy have 5 other children not including Ross and Henson and 25 grandchildren that come out as well)

    Damn that black horse with the mustache (I missed his name...) he is just gorgeous and so elegant! I love that he was so gentle and kind that gave those stomps entering the trailer like "I am gentle and powerful" like it was almost deliberate how he stomped and his other steps were damn near silent. Like he agreed with the 'he's a wild beast' with just pure grace. Wow

    That is absolutely one of the most beautiful, amazing things KZread has randomly thrown into my feed. Those horses are happy, happy, happy. I may be contacting you guys sometime this year or next as we get ready for me to get a horse. It has been awhile, I am now 59. We live in New Mexico and when this video started I thought you guys were somewhere between Clines Corner, Vaughn or Duran. 😂 my husband's company has a 9000 acre ranch with empty equestrian facilities that I can use at my leisure, plus, my horse will be kept in our acre backyard. Loads of riding. Need me a good quarter horse or ranch horse to traverse sandy hills where I live and the Manzanita mountains where I will spend a lot of time riding, too. I simply cannot wait!

    Asking an ignorant question… how do you choose the mares for each stallion?

  • @PaintedDesertRanch
    @PaintedDesertRanchКүн бұрын

    Not ignorant at all. Overall, we breed for a horse with a good mind. After that we try to make an agile horse that can do any discipline- from trail riding to performance. Color is another thing we breed for…. We always say , breeding is a cowboy/horseman’s art. A buyer can tell us what they’re looking for and we can tell them which cross will best suit them. We know our studs and we know our mares- that helps us to determine what mares go with what stud. Thanks for the question.

    Some good looking foal's.....I do not agree with this method of ranching..... I prefer a more controlled environment for my herds ....Free range on very little quality grassland with harsh weather conditions.....With open range you still need to drop off alfalfa squares, or orchard Grass rounds.....I do believe in turning studs out with a small herd of mares......
