Henson, I've been training for 25+ years and worked on various breeds including American Bashkir Curlies. Based on my experience, I say each horse is an individual, just like people. Does lineage play a part, absolutely! I've heard people refer to Hancock horses being hard to train. I'm unaware if any horses that I've worked with had Hancock blood. I just treat each one as an individual. My vote is you continue to train as you have been training.

Then you said dash dad later in the video I was like yep, love those dash hips he puts on em...looks alot like John Wayne's horse in the later movies called Highboy. Same nice build, white stripe, only one sox but still pretty athletic build like highboy❤. Thats gonna be a nice one when he's all filled out ❤...brains too, good combo.🐎

The double edge sword from 'new technology' (i.e. your new camera) - great features & benefits, but the learning curve (if you are not immersed in that field) can be daunting. Food for thought - if your issue is the editing software why don't you check out your local community colleges - they may offer a (cheap) course in video editing / editing software.

You mentioned that you didn't know the sires and dams of certain colts. Has Jerry ever thought of branding colts with a mare line number and a stallion brand? That way you know exactly which foal is which. I know he and Henson know but now that more of your stock is being offered to the public, it could be a good marketing tool down the road.
