He was the first cousin of my late father. A humble man who lived life on his terms. I met him last in 2006. He was quite frail but his spirit was full of life. May Allah pardon his sins and grant him Jannah.

Beautiful narration. The introduction of the gentleman narrator is missing in the details below. I had read Bang e Dara in school days. I completely forgot about this poem. Allama Sahib's great work indeed.

Must pay tribute to Mir Bhai for his ability to narrate incidents in a way that everything , comes alive as if it is actually happening before you. An appreciable effort on the whole as it sheds light on the life of our sikh counterparts across Punjab border. Brings to fore many aspects/ideals unknown to us. Like the common heroes like Bulleh shah, Allama Iqbal and Baba Guru Nanak.

Glad that you, and now I, stand educated on these facts. Not relevant, but needs mentioning of the Mughal emperors killing two of the Sikh Gurus, and that very brutally. A tragedy that should never have happened.

Must admire Meer bhai's command over narration/eye for details. Everything comes alive while hearing him. The whole endeavour is appreciable as it sheds light on many unknown aspects of our sikh counterpart in East Punjab. And the common grounds that can be traced in the form of common heroes like Bulhe Shah' Allama Iqbal and Baba Gurunanak in this case.

Thanks a lot for posting the video. It is heartening to note that you have readily accepted your errors and have praised an Indian Sikh officer. Sikhs are open-hearted people, who take great pride in belonging to Punjab and speaking their language. Your narration is excellent and almost made me feel like I witnessed the episodes myself.

Saleem Janjua. You have described your interaction with a Sikh Officer very candidly. Many other officers who had a personal interaction with officers across the borders have almost similar views. Sikh community ia otherwise quite lively and his observation about speaking Punjabi needs to be considered seriously. A very good series and please continue Brother.

Thank you sir.. A very nicee clip to watch. I have been extensively interacting with Indian community at work and in my neighborhood, including many Sikhs. I have always noted with interest following: - Their is a natural affinity between Indian and Pakistanis. Sikhs like pakistani punjabis immensely. just like siblings who got separated at birth and meet after a long time. At work I was always treated with utmost respect and helped by indian colleagues some of them my superiors and supervisors.

M M Alan hero of Pakistan was was not liked by the traitors of elite Pakistan especially by Commodore Shamim & Zia ul Haq. We never did justice with our heroes because the traitors were alway had the power to push these jewels aside. Pakistani are the worst nation who heart their own heroes who want to bring Pakistan to the level where the world can see them prosper. Just take the case of Imran Khan. This time these traitors are exposed now the nation know who the the actual problem for Pakistan.
