  When they start ranting about david goggins i just tune out, he's just a narcissist motivated by a sense of superiority and every time someone strokes his erect ego that is what actually fuels him not the drive to improve or overcome adversity itself 😅

  I agree. The characters are badly written, and Kit is downright cringy in dialog and attitude. Boorman is the only interesting character and his dialog is worth watching. This show had several bad writers and the male writers were certainly out shined by the woman.

  It’s paradoxical. Everything Jung explains is as a result of a prolific thought process. Essentially to understand Jung, it’s like learning and understanding any new language. It takes a long time but patience will pay off if you have the courage to take the learning journey.

  True. And I was right. There was no redeeming factor to Mrs Bennet throughout the entire novel. Almost all the main characters changed in some way EXCEPT HER. I Hated Mrs Bennet MORE than lady Catherine & Caroline Bingley COMBINED.

  Almost impossible to listen to with the horrible looping music in the background. Hard to assimilate the spoken word and imagery with those infernal pumping sounds over everything in the background.. This is an excellent analysis of the fairytale, so please resubmit it minus the distracting background music

  Hi Bo, thanks for your comment and advice. As a beginner in content creation i struggle with the soundtrack a lot. I would love to re upload the video however I delete my projects once I upload them. However, I will take your feedback into account as I am now working on part 2 of this theme. :)

  This is a great review. I am so sad that this series never got the traction it deserved, in part due to the critics. I am even sadder that season 2 was nowhere near the quality of season 1.

  I think you are totally correct that season 2 was significantly less impressive than season 1! Probably because the entire team who made season 1 including Travis Beecham departed from the project. I had really high hopes for season 2 but it was a disappointment:) I am glad you enjoyed the review!

  We were so surprised how good this show was. Also, it is easy to get through the italian subtitles .... I hope they produce more.

  The show is absolutely amazing. I have not seen it promoted however. At all. Someone decided that they didn’t like it, and they will wring it’s neck. So they didn’t order positive reviews. Why would someone make such a decision? I can not know for sure, but I suspect they feared that the show’s politics will prove divisive (woke) or they personally don’t like them.

  Great show, but simply it is not Tolkien story. In my opinion Galadriel and Sauron are great characters, their interactions are heart of this show so far, I do like it. But I must emphathize am not looking for Tolkien books in this show at all. I simply look for interesting engaging story. This story has many minor flaws(to many subplots for example), but main characters and their interactions are just great.

  Excellent review, thank you. The critic scores for most things have become so unreliable, I no longer look to them to find out if something is worth watching (I did for years). I look to IMDB and rotten tomatoes audience scores, as they will give a more accurate picture of whether something is worth watching. I have no idea what is up with mainstream critical review, but it is completely out of touch with reality. Carnival Row is one of the best things I have seen in years, and Rings of Power is unwatchable garbage.

  First I would agree by saying that Sauron is a more appealing protagonist than Galadriel. That is a serious problem and terrible writing. I would disagree about the Numenor CGI looking good. It is fine from a color scheme but the scale is off. The Numenoreans are a great seafaring warrior class people. The ports are not grand or large enough for a fleet of paper boats. But I agree overall with your assessment.

  If female representation was one of the main agenda, I wonder why the showrunners didn't show any female orcs.. I mean they had females in the lead position for almost all the races in Middle Earth(Elves, Numenoreans, Dwarves, Harfoots(whatever that's supposed to mean), and Men(as in humans who weren't elves, dwarves or numenoreans)).. Wonder why they didn't want to also show female orcs?? Was it because orcs are already despicable, to begin with.. Wait a minute.. So, was that the purpose, of all the strong female characters? To "gender-swap" the strong/likeable male characters, while retaining the ones that were already despicable to begin with? Why else would they miss out showing female orcs??
