  I remember when I met you at the Hale Koa in October of 1984 you were studying history at Kapiolani Community College. I asked you why on earth are you studying Greek History and you asked me "What should I be studying? " and I answered "Hawaiian History!" So maybe I am the reason you changed course. Just kidding. While it is a truly heartbreaking tale, I really enjoyed this. The song "to a warrior"(I don't know its name ) is perhaps the most beautiful song I've ever heard. Well done my friend.   Iolani Palace giving out bad information, why and who did this? Hawaii is nowhere near american land or has never been legally acquired. as soon as those troops landed it was an act of war on a neutral country breaking their promised agreements with treaties supreme law of the lands. US War Department has war pins placed all over Hawaii years before fakehood.   @@kingmusa2920 King Kalakaua had a half Scottish niece, that doesn’t mean anything. Musa is Arabic, Kalakaua’s name is Polynesian. The only foreign name he has is David, Indonesia and Malaysia are the only places in the Pacific with an Arab/Islamic influence. Indonesia and Malaysia is nowhere near Polynesia, the closest thing we have to Arabs in Polynesia are the Indians in Fiji.

  4:12 Something many people might not know is that when the Hawaii'an Ali'i went to England to visit Queen Victoria, it was for her diamond jubilee. Queen Victoria had personally designed jewelry, as gifts for her Hawai'ian visitors. The Ali'i went back to Hawai'i, had their jeweler reproduce the design to be given as gifts to honor those who served them. This is where the Olde English Script used in the design, came from. The jewelry is still loved by people of Hawai'i as well as many others. It's known as Hawai'ian Heirloom Jewelry.

  Which was actually a constitutional monarchy, more of a republic. The last two kings were elected. They campaigned and there was free and open debate. Honolulu had several newspapers, and some were openly critical of the monarchy. Not all Hawaiians wanted a monarchy. The country was definitely moving in the direction of being a modern western style republic.
