Which was actually a constitutional monarchy, more of a republic. The last two kings were elected. They campaigned and there was free and open debate. Honolulu had several newspapers, and some were openly critical of the monarchy. Not all Hawaiians wanted a monarchy. The country was definitely moving in the direction of being a modern western style republic.

I would expect a more honest and thorough explanation of the Hawaiian monarchy and every significant that lead to the so-called statehood (prolonged illegal belligerent occupation). The research is available and this video needs to be revised.

Hawaiian.

According to the Haugh (international court) they recognize the Hawaii Kingdom to this day as a working Country that is occupied for over 100yrs by the USA.

Would you have information of the relationship between native maori during his time please.

@@kingmusa2920 King Kalakaua had a half Scottish niece, that doesn’t mean anything. Musa is Arabic, Kalakaua’s name is Polynesian. The only foreign name he has is David, Indonesia and Malaysia are the only places in the Pacific with an Arab/Islamic influence. Indonesia and Malaysia is nowhere near Polynesia, the closest thing we have to Arabs in Polynesia are the Indians in Fiji.

Yes but King Kalakaua is Hawaiian . His bloodline shows it. You mean the malays come from King Kalakaua and yes he acknowledged the common descendancy in his world tour and visit to you. Aloha dear ancestors

@@jacindakalakaua1206 Hawaiian and other polynesian ancestors came from the Malayo Archipelago. So they belong to the Malay race. Polynesians are long lost Malay brothers.

The Constitution guarantees a republican government for every state, thus making a monarchy illegal. Remove that guarantee and allow for a panarchic system, in which every state chooses its own government. Long live Monarchy!
