Today, in commemoration of the birthday of King Kalākaua's birthday, the Royal Guard was reviewed by David Kawananakoa and Lieutenant Governor Aiona. The Royal Guard is a ceremonial unit of the U.S. Air National Guard. The guards are either Hawaiian or part-Hawaiian and their Drill commands are given in Hawaiian.
