Really enjoyed this video, so many good games on your list. I absolutely loved playing Chuckie Egg back in the day too ☺️ SoulCalibur on the Dreamcast is the only SC game I’ve never played but it will be the first game I get when I buy a Dreamcast. Such a difficult list to do, i think mine might be different if i did it again now🤣 You mentioned so many cool Speccy games, thats one of the toughest picks of all but Chuckie Egg is brilliant Some great picks all around, always find it interesting to hear different people's picks I have that Dark Souls ps3 pack you showed thanks to a kind gift from Mark, still not tried it yet but will get to it at some point Agree the ps4 and Switch are great consoles and the current generation hasn't moved things forward, im not sure a Switch 2 is needed much like a ps5 but there will obviously be one soon Great vid mate👍

What a cracking list. Chuckie Egg takes me right back to the start of my journey. I need to play MSG as the first one in the series I played was on the ps2 (sons of liberty I think). Chuckie Egg is a stone cold classic. Simple gameplay, tight controls and addictive as hell... great fun! MSG is definitely worth a look. I have haven't played it since bitd, so am sure it has aged. I'me quite good at (and I'm sure you are), playing the old games and not being too harsh with how they look/play now. Products of their time. The gamecube version is very good also. Super Mario 64 the best of that bunch mate by a country mile! The replayability of it is unmatched. The effect it had on gaming. I think the jump between last generation to this isn't that big now, in terms of what the tech can show you physically. There's definitely been a rest in your laurels type thing going on with remakes and releases of older games. Still need to try God of War Ragnarok. Good watch mate. Take it easy.

Mario 64 was a seminal moment in gaming history for me (and many, inc you). Adored it! I get that the visual/power differences are less from gen to gen, but I'm not seeing many of those PS5 exclusives. Its other things like NPC AI, etc that I like to see develop. The controller haptics in PS5 is awesome, more can be done with that in games. We're 4 years in to the PS5's 'life', and it's not a patch on PS4 4 years in. The gaming landscape has certainly changed from PS3-PS4 in comparison to PS4-PS5 though. Nice one James, hope all is well with you and the family. Have a great weekend.

Great list mate, a fair few wrong pics but a great list nevertheless 😂. Definitely my favourite zelda, totally agree, a masterpiece. Hate metal gear solid 💩. Ninja gaiden was just too hard for me, looked stunning though. I've never played a single metroid game 😂. Tried darksouls last year, spent an hour humping a wall whilst a skeleton stabbed me repeatedly in the back.

As always some great stuff. I can honestly say I’ve never heard of Captain Silver. Not an SMS guy so probably why. Yeah PA ain’t a bad site and sometimes do some good deals and with free postage it can be good to keep an eye on their site. Though I’m a bigger fan of Amazon Japan, though they obviously don’t sell Asian versions which is obviously a specialty of PA. The Psikyo sets are good value for money. Ones I double dipped on with Switch and PS4. Take it easy Clay.

Josh man! Scramble Spirits is a good time, plays smooth, but sometimes the bullets are hard to see against the backgrounds. Something many games suffered with of this era. I’m very pleased to finally get a copy of Fire Emblem.👌 Absolutely mate, it’s right for me. Depends on the game mind. I’d never part with Super Castlevania 4 for example, means to much to me. Great stuff mate. After the N64, when I moved on to the PS2, I got Time splitters and my dad and I would play it a lot. I recall something to do with the employees and Rare too. Never got into it as much as I did Goldeneye 007 though. Wow that Nanotek Warrior made me feel sick when I was watching the clip of it! Haha I just knew there would be some medicinal ciggies you'd had at some point 😂 always gives me a chuckle. Fair play selling some bits to fund the collection. Makes sense, especially if it holds no sentimental value and you can play the same games on compilations for much cheaper. Fantastic watch mate. That 3DS is proper bang for your buck now! To tell the truth, I was not much of a fan of the character design of Timesplitters. Thought they looked odd… a product of their time I guess. Hahaha, it is quite an intense racer, recommended and good fun though. I’m happy with the decisions mate. I can now play the titles on current systems, on larger screens. As I said to Import Gamer, I wouldn’t sell other choice titles that hold nostalgia. Nice one fella, hope you’re having a great weekend. 👊

Some nice additions Clay, i still stand by World Soccer as the greatest football game ever made but admit the early iss games are good though the original N64 is the best for me Sound common sense to sell valuable versions of games you can get cheap on other formats The 3DS hack sounds great, the Virtual Boy stuff would be fantastic to play, always wished there was a good way to enjoy that without owning the quirky console 👍

Love the look of Scramble Spirits. I've been playing shoot em ups quite a bit of late. I'll fire up the Xbox later and give it a play 👍 I've seen Jupiter Strike loads on eBay over the years. Like you I thought it was part of the strike series. Had no clue it's a Fox clone. Does look pretty decent tbh. Nice one with Nanotek Warrior Clay. I first swe that on a random pickups vid I watched a couple of years ago. Really cool looking game. I was looking at retro collections on PS4 yesterday. Pretty amazing what's available. Those shooting collections are on my list. Especially the Strikers disc. Atari 50 looks great. I know it's had good reviews. Have you checked out the new Atari 2600 Plus Clay? I've got one. It's fantastic.

I've got a few hours set aside tomorrow to play some games Pete, and Scramble Spirits will be one of them. Nanotek Warrior is great fun. I've been really getting in to my Playstation era games. Played a fair bit of it back in the day around numerous friend's houses, but I was an N64 man. Honestly Pete, the PS4 is a fantastic system. It has a great amount of genres and experiences for everyone. A mahoosive game library! Nah, as I said in vid, I'm not too bothered with Atari like that. Atari 50 comes with 90+ games (70s-90s and new games), so I'm happy with this as a package. I have heard lots of good things about it though. Have a great weekend Pete.

I do prefer world Cup italia 90 though, not sure why 😂 captain silver is one I still want to grab. I just picked up that ram man figure aswel.... Yep, a fair amount here. I’m planning a Spectrum day, to go through many of the obscure titles and see if there’s anything I can move on. Really pleased with my mods and Hagane and Rapid Reload mate. 👌 I’m currently about 50% through Trek to Yomi. Looks and sounds stunning, but a bit ‘trial and error’ in some places, which I find a tad frustrating. Hope you’re well Stew! 👊

Ive had that metabarons in my ebay wat h list for ages now. Maybe its time to pull the trigger. Id love to grab hagane eventually. Such a great game. Congrata on rapid reload. As a launch game people really have forgotten about it as it want 3d. Such a shame our collective mindset was like that back then. Claire does amazing work. 👌 Prodeus was fantastic. Metabarons was in my watch list for a while. Paid £15 for it on Ebay via auction. Pleased with that. Yeah, really enjoying Rapid Reload. Didn't realise it was a launch game. Psst is a cracking little arcade game, clumsy Colin isn't 🤣💩. That speccy warehouse sounds awesome. Cracking mod by Mrs bear. Huge fan of ape escape, fairly sure it was the first game to use the analogue sticks. Totally agree with your thoughts regarding rock n roll racing 2 💩. King Kong is really good. I have evil twin on the dreamcast 😎. Strangers wrath is one of my all time favourites. Great pick ups matey.

Rapid reload is an amazing pickup bud. Submarine attack is such an underated game, defo one of my fav master system games 😊 that iron comic 😄

I only owned this one Super Naturals figure, but wanted more. Holograms were (and are) flippin great, ha. I'm really enjoying both Rapid Reload and Submarine Attack mate. I'm on the look out for a few more MS though, including Scramble Spirits. Hope you're having a good weekend Steve!

Love the dune book Clay 👌. You have to check out the Lynch film; it gets a bit of a beating (including from Lynch who wanted a longer cut) but i blooming love it. I was really impressed with the first Villeneuve film albeit I’ve yet to see part 2. Great idea on the SMS pause button; haven’t seen anything life that before. Fab super natural figure mate. Nice pickups Clay Never seen gameplay of Submarine Attack. Looks really nice. The FM is so much better. It's criminal that they removed it. I won't if anyone's has ever asked ex Sega execs what happened. I love galaga on PS2. The variation in perspective really keeps it interesting. Weirdly I just picked up a game you showed. Won't say which one. I've got a pickups coming up where I talk about it 👍 Urban Chaos is a fantastic game. One I need to get again.

Mate, it's a decent game. Saw the game case many in the past and thought 'nah', but a really good game. It definitely is, but depending on the game you play, nostalgia kicks in, and I o back to the standard version. No doubt due to costs at the time mate I would have thought. Galaga on PS2? Did you mean PS1? Urban Chaos is great. One of the top (underrated) first person shooters of that generation.

Oooh Hagane and Rapid Reload. Very tasty adds there Clay. I own a pal loose cart of Hagane in a repro box. I'd love to own an og complete but it's become less and less feasible as time has gone on 😅. I love Rapid Reload. Definitely hits the spot for those looking for that Gunstar Heroes fix.

Awesome pickups mate! Gonna have to look into The Last Guy on PS3, looks really interesting. Also Odin Sphere is fantastic, played it just recently. Very similar to Muramasa on Vita/Wii which I'd highly recommend if you don't already know about it.

I did play a bit of that MK too actually, I think that is the one with the adventure mode? Konquestmode? Indeed he is mate. Shaolin Monks is the one I most keen to play from this era of MK Steve. It's more of a 3D hack-n-slash/action title but with the MK aesthetic... and blood and gore.

I absolutely loved playing Chuckie Egg back in the day too ☺️ SoulCalibur on the Dreamcast is the only SC game I’ve never played but it will be the first game I get when I buy a Dreamcast. Such a difficult list to do, i think mine might be different if i did it again now🤣 You mentioned so many cool Speccy games, thats one of the toughest picks of all but Chuckie Egg is brilliant Some great picks all around, always find it interesting to hear different people's picks I have that Dark Souls ps3 pack you showed thanks to a kind gift from Mark, still not tried it yet but will get to it at some point Agree the ps4 and Switch are great consoles and the current generation hasn't moved things forward, im not sure a Switch 2 is needed much like a ps5 but there will obviously be one soon Great vid mate👍

How so ref my GC choice Stu? There are loads of crackers on the system (a different day migght get a different choice), including the x2 Zeldas, Res Evil Remake and F-Zero. Think I'm just longing for another visit the Prime style of games. Chuckie Egg for the win, haha. Have a great weekend mate.

What a cracking list. Chuckie Egg takes me right back to the start of my journey. I need to play MSG as the first one in the series I played was on the ps2 (sons of liberty I think). Chuckie Egg is a stone cold classic. Simple gameplay, tight controls and addictive as hell... great fun! MSG is definitely worth a look. I have haven't played it since bitd, so am sure it has aged. I'me quite good at (and I'm sure you are), playing the old games and not being too harsh with how they look/play now. Products of their time. The gamecube version is very good also. Super Mario 64 the best of that bunch mate by a country mile! The replayability of it is unmatched. The effect it had on gaming. I think the jump between last generation to this isn't that big now, in terms of what the tech can show you physically. There's definitely been a rest in your laurels type thing going on with remakes and releases of older games. Still need to try God of War Ragnarok. Good watch mate. Take it easy.
Mario 64 was a seminal moment in gaming history for me (and many, inc you). Adored it! I get that the visual/power differences are less from gen to gen, but I'm not seeing many of those PS5 exclusives. Its other things like NPC AI, etc that I like to see develop. The controller haptics in PS5 is awesome, more can be done with that in games. We're 4 years in to the PS5's 'life', and it's not a patch on PS4 4 years in. The gaming landscape has certainly changed from PS3-PS4 in comparison to PS4-PS5 though. Nice one James, hope all is well with you and the family. Have a great weekend.

Haha, oh yeah, there’s more. Don’t have too many MS titles on my ‘want’ list now though. Willy Fog still stands up to be fair. Was good to watch through with my daughter (and occasionally) my wife.

Great list mate, a fair few wrong pics but a great list nevertheless 😂. Definitely my favourite zelda, totally agree, a masterpiece. Hate metal gear solid 💩. Ninja gaiden was just too hard for me, looked stunning though. I've never played a single metroid game 😂. Tried darksouls last year, spent an hour humping a wall whilst a skeleton stabbed me repeatedly in the back.

As always some great stuff. I can honestly say I’ve never heard of Captain Silver. Not an SMS guy so probably why. Yeah PA ain’t a bad site and sometimes do some good deals and with free postage it can be good to keep an eye on their site. Though I’m a bigger fan of Amazon Japan, though they obviously don’t sell Asian versions which is obviously a specialty of PA. The Psikyo sets are good value for money. Ones I double dipped on with Switch and PS4. Take it easy Clay.

Josh man! Scramble Spirits is a good time, plays smooth, but sometimes the bullets are hard to see against the backgrounds. Something many games suffered with of this era. I’m very pleased to finally get a copy of Fire Emblem.👌 Absolutely mate, it’s right for me. Depends on the game mind. I’d never part with Super Castlevania 4 for example, means to much to me. Great stuff mate. After the N64, when I moved on to the PS2, I got Time splitters and my dad and I would play it a lot. I recall something to do with the employees and Rare too. Never got into it as much as I did Goldeneye 007 though. Wow that Nanotek Warrior made me feel sick when I was watching the clip of it! Haha I just knew there would be some medicinal ciggies you'd had at some point 😂 always gives me a chuckle. Fair play selling some bits to fund the collection. Makes sense, especially if it holds no sentimental value and you can play the same games on compilations for much cheaper. Fantastic watch mate. That 3DS is proper bang for your buck now! To tell the truth, I was not much of a fan of the character design of Timesplitters. Thought they looked odd… a product of their time I guess. Hahaha, it is quite an intense racer, recommended and good fun though. I’m happy with the decisions mate. I can now play the titles on current systems, on larger screens. As I said to Import Gamer, I wouldn’t sell other choice titles that hold nostalgia. Nice one fella, hope you’re having a great weekend. 👊

Some nice additions Clay, i still stand by World Soccer as the greatest football game ever made but admit the early iss games are good though the original N64 is the best for me Sound common sense to sell valuable versions of games you can get cheap on other formats The 3DS hack sounds great, the Virtual Boy stuff would be fantastic to play, always wished there was a good way to enjoy that without owning the quirky console 👍

Love the look of Scramble Spirits. I've been playing shoot em ups quite a bit of late. I'll fire up the Xbox later and give it a play 👍 I've seen Jupiter Strike loads on eBay over the years. Like you I thought it was part of the strike series. Had no clue it's a Fox clone. Does look pretty decent tbh. Nice one with Nanotek Warrior Clay. I first swe that on a random pickups vid I watched a couple of years ago. Really cool looking game. I was looking at retro collections on PS4 yesterday. Pretty amazing what's available. Those shooting collections are on my list. Especially the Strikers disc. Atari 50 looks great. I know it's had good reviews. Have you checked out the new Atari 2600 Plus Clay? I've got one. It's fantastic.
I've got a few hours set aside tomorrow to play some games Pete, and Scramble Spirits will be one of them. Nanotek Warrior is great fun. I've been really getting in to my Playstation era games. Played a fair bit of it back in the day around numerous friend's houses, but I was an N64 man. Honestly Pete, the PS4 is a fantastic system. It has a great amount of genres and experiences for everyone. A mahoosive game library! Nah, as I said in vid, I'm not too bothered with Atari like that. Atari 50 comes with 90+ games (70s-90s and new games), so I'm happy with this as a package. I have heard lots of good things about it though. Have a great weekend Pete.

I'll hopefully get time to play Scramble Spirits this weekend mate. I did get back in to World Soccer... took me right back when I booted it up. The Origins Ram-Man is so much better than the original isn't it. I saw you had it in the background of your latest PS1 collection vid. My wife did try our daughter with Raggy Dolls and she liked it. Yep, a fair amount here. I’m planning a Spectrum day, to go through many of the obscure titles and see if there’s anything I can move on. Really pleased with my mods and Hagane and Rapid Reload mate. 👌 I’m currently about 50% through Trek to Yomi. Looks and sounds stunning, but a bit ‘trial and error’ in some places, which I find a tad frustrating. Hope you’re well Stew! 👊

Mate, it really is. A huge weighty thing. I wanted this version though, rather than collect all the individual books/chapters. I've not come across a bad version of NZ Story, a great little game. Oh wow so much cool stuff mate, that Dune (esqe) novel sounds interesting, great work from Claire she really is excellent at what she does, i saw her FB post on r-type nice to know it was your machine :) Great selection from the ps1 games and hagane (still one i dont own) i'll keep an eye out for reload manual (although thats a tough ask to find)

Ive had that metabarons in my ebay wat h list for ages now. Maybe its time to pull the trigger. Id love to grab hagane eventually. Such a great game. Congrata on rapid reload. As a launch game people really have forgotten about it as it want 3d. Such a shame our collective mindset was like that back then. Claire does amazing work. 👌 Prodeus was fantastic. I suggest tweaking the filters before you play it. Awesome stuff ✌️✌️✌️
Metabarons was in my watch list for a while. Paid £15 for it on Ebay via auction. Pleased with that. Yeah, really enjoying Rapid Reload. Didn't realise it was a launch game. Psst is a cracking little arcade game, clumsy Colin isn't 🤣💩. That speccy warehouse sounds awesome. Cracking mod by Mrs bear. Huge fan of ape escape, fairly sure it was the first game to use the analogue sticks. Totally agree with your thoughts regarding rock n roll racing 2 💩. King Kong is really good. I have evil twin on the dreamcast 😎. Strangers wrath is one of my all time favourites. Great pick ups matey.

Thats a belting pickups vid clay buddy 😊 loving those master system pads. I remember my mate loved super naturals back in the day, they used to be in one of the paper shops we had in the village. Rapid reload is an amazing pickup bud. Submarine attack is such an underated game, defo one of my fav master system games 😊 that iron comic 😄
I only owned this one Super Naturals figure, but wanted more. Holograms were (and are) flippin great, ha. I'm really enjoying both Rapid Reload and Submarine Attack mate. I'm on the look out for a few more MS though, including Scramble Spirits. Hope you're having a good weekend Steve!
Love the dune book Clay 👌. You have to check out the Lynch film; it gets a bit of a beating (including from Lynch who wanted a longer cut) but i blooming love it. I was really impressed with the first Villeneuve film albeit I’ve yet to see part 2. Great idea on the SMS pause button; haven’t seen anything life that before. Fab super natural figure mate. Nice pickups Clay Never seen gameplay of Submarine Attack. Looks really nice. The FM is so much better. It's criminal that they removed it. I won't if anyone's has ever asked ex Sega execs what happened. I love galaga on PS2. The variation in perspective really keeps it interesting. Weirdly I just picked up a game you showed. Won't say which one. I've got a pickups coming up where I talk about it 👍 Urban Chaos is a fantastic game. One I need to get again.
Mate, it's a decent game. Saw the game case many in the past and thought 'nah', but a really good game. It definitely is, but depending on the game you play, nostalgia kicks in, and I o back to the standard version. No doubt due to costs at the time mate I would have thought. Galaga on PS2? Did you mean PS1? Urban Chaos is great. One of the top (underrated) first person shooters of that generation.

Oooh Hagane and Rapid Reload. Very tasty adds there Clay. I own a pal loose cart of Hagane in a repro box. I'd love to own an og complete but it's become less and less feasible as time has gone on 😅. I love Rapid Reload. Definitely hits the spot for those looking for that Gunstar Heroes fix.

Awesome pickups mate! Gonna have to look into The Last Guy on PS3, looks really interesting. Also Odin Sphere is fantastic, played it just recently. Very similar to Muramasa on Vita/Wii which I'd highly recommend if you don't already know about it.
