A game without sound and music isn't the same is it. For example, the AY chip made a huge difference to the ZX Spectrum. It's also the music which gives me the most nostalgic when I load a game up! Some nice choices there, Clay! 👍🏻

Absolutely right Paul! Target Renegade and Nebulus are also other standouts for me. Although the tone of the TR music seems a little out of place for the game. Cheers buddy, hope you're keeping well.

Brilliant watch whilst having my breakfast mate. Lots of interesting stories to accompany your choices. Some absolute bangers in there! Must admit, you made me tear up a touch with your Robocop choice and reason behind it. Those memories add so much more to the tune.

Haha, it's undeniable isn't it, a definite rip-off/borrowing of the tune. Yep, all of the Wii Sports tunes have the same sort of laid back vibe. I also like the Mii creation theme. Cheers Edster, having a pleasant weekend thank you. Hope you and the family are well. Take it easy!

Well said regarding Robocop Clay, I echo those sentiments. I think the Spectrum version is identical to the CPC one that I grew up with. Nostalgia, tsk, can't beat it.

Honestly mate, the whole soundtrack is very good, but this Boss theme is the cream of the crop. It gets even more intense after this snippit as well. Cheers Stu, hope you're well fella.

Some great choices there Clay. The one that stood out to me out of these was the one for Contra, what a great game too, balls hard mind lol. Take it easy mate.

Contra 3/Super Probotector is definitely one of the very best for the SNES - love it. It’s not too tricky on Normal difficulty but definitely tough on Hard setting. You have to do the extra bit at the end, which is the final nail in the coffin.

Enjoyed this mate, well spotted, contra was definitely ripping of predator 🤣. Never heard of plok, cracking tune. Robocop is a classic 👌.

It definitely was mate, haha. Plok has a benchmark soundtrack mate. Definitely go and check it out. Game's good (but tough) as well. Nice one Dave my man.

For me, it was the first time I used a retro virtual shop via a console (the PS3 was next). Such a novelty. Didn't like how Nintendo kept on reselling the same games on their subsequent systems. Should have had a better user account system. But hey, gets them more money right. The shop's simple midi music just makes me feel relaxed and happy. Hope you're having a great weekend James.
