I definitely recommend Huntdown Matt... full of 80's goodness! Loads of movie quips in there too. The Quarry is ok, but not as good as Until Dawn me thinks. Cheers dude and hope you've had a great bank holiday weekend.

Some cracking pick ups there mate. Enjoyed it. Quarry looks class

Cheers mate. The Quarry is ok, not as good as Until Dawn, but this was mainly picked up for the wife to play through as she loves this sort of game. Lot's a long dialogue and little real gameplay at the moment. And some of the characters are complete douchebags, you almost want them to die... haha.

Were you a fan then eh? 😉 I never got in to the show, but obviously many did. I'll jump back on to finish Huntdown after I finish off Ys Vlll. It will be a modest update to the room but worth another look around I think as there has been some clear updates. I've had a lovely weekend with the family mate. Hope you've had a good-un.

Yeah, it's a nice little lamp that obviously lends itself very well to a games room. You did influence me mate, and I am very grateful, as I had forgot about all about it. Pretty sure my mate had one back in the day. I'm impressed with it too, works well and I love the design of it. Obviously, it's not as good as having the PS1 version... but my wallet is happier. Nice selection of additions there mate. I must admit I have a soft spot for Animal Crossing. Played the NintendoDS and 3DS versions a lot, then the Switch version. Really awesome games to chill out to. Loving the new layout. Looking forward to seeing an overview of it. Hope you're well mate.

I'm not avoiding playing Animal Crossing because I don't like the games, I just don't have the time for them anymore. I still plan on playing the 3DS version though. I suppose it will be nice escapism, they always seem so cheery, upbeat and as you say a 'chill out'. Vaguely remember the centurions, don't recall ever owning the toys. Oooh didn't know there was a sequel to maken x, I neeeeeeeed it. Buffy is great fun. Great pick ups.

Love that centurions figure clay buddy 😄 I never had any of those back in the day. I've heard great things about the quarry, il have to grab that. I downloaded huntdown and its a great game bud, looking forward to seeing the room tour 😄👊

The Quarry is good, as long as you're ok with that kind of slow gameplay (lots of watching and listening to dialogue). Huntdown is great - right up my street. Has been high on my 'to own' list for quite a while. I should be putting out the quick room tour next vid. Hope you're well Steve and have had a great long weekend.

Nice one! Wow, Centurions i had almost forgotten about that. Sure i have that arcade stick for the nes...didnt realise it was microswitched, just one of those things i had chucked in a tub but never used. Nice to see og xbox games added as it is the beslt place to play games on that generation. That huntdown looks quality.

Loved the Centurions Rodg, a great show but especially a great toy line. Huntdown is good, mindless fun mate. A thoroughly recommended game for sure. Cheers mate!

That centurion dude was certainly pimped up with weapons 😮. I’ve still my childhood ace mccloud figure knocking around with doc terror 😄. Don’t make toys like them any more. Lovin the Pac-Man light particularly the sound effects. Enjoy the bank hols mate 👍😊🕹️

Mate, you wouldn't want to spill his pint would you. Whilst Max Ray and Jake Rockwell had great head sculpts, I though Ace was poor, that's why I never bought the figure. A fussy git even back then! I've had good long weekend thanks Ed. Hope you have too!

I really do like that arcade stick... .would be ideal for the Master System 👌

Not only does the Quickshot look good mate, but it actually works/ controls well. Who'd have funked it! Yeah, I bought it primarily for my Master System. Hope you and the family have had a great long weekend mate.

Good stuff as always Clay. I was a massive fan of The Centurions cartoon as a kid and had the guys too. Did they ever do a game based on the cartoon. I don’t think so, but now I’m wondering if they did. Nice to see the upgrades are still happening. I reckon at some point you’ll plump for a scaler lol. I picked up The Huntdown a while back, but couldn’t get on with it and thought it was a little clunky. Loved the graphics and soundtrack though. Maybe I need to go back to it and give it another crack as I know it’s a game I’ll likely enjoy. I’ve still yet to pick up The Quarry, but it’s one I’m glad has had a price drop as it was holding its value for a little while there. Take it easy and have a great weekend.

I don't think they did Dylan. Would make for a great game IF done properly. Would probably have be turned in to some generic platformer though. Wonder if they will ever remake it? I thought (and still think) the concept was great. Yeah, I'll no doubt go for an up-scaler at some point, it's a marathon not a sprint though. You really need to use the environment in Huntdown, taking cover in both backgrounds and behind obstacles. Plus, you need to get a good grip of the jumping and dashing buttons. Really good when that all starts to click. The Quarry is alright, my wife's happy with it. Not as good as Until Dawn and some of the characters and dialogue can be excruciating haha. I'm off all week with the wife, but so far have had an excellent weekend. Hope you have too mate.

centurions were quality. certainly a toy line that seemed designed to have missing parts. lol. freak out has 2 different covers maybe thats whee the confusion is. Blackstone is a very cool game. Huntdown is so good! so many nods to 80s pop culture its hard to keep up|! Quarry was fantastic. but it still doesnt peak to the heights of Until Dawn. that was just an experience i was not expecting when i first played it! great stuff!

So true Eddie. It's the little accessories that are hard to find (plus are costly) with many of these old toy lineS, (I'm looking at you Star Wars). That could be it mate yeah, there is the plain red and then the more illustrative cover. Blackstone looks like a nice RPG/ dungeon crawler, and I do enjoy those from time-to-time. Huntdown is one of the best indie games I've played in a while. Tonnes of effort, love and polish has gone in to it. Nah, I'm not quite feeling The Quarry at the moment, but the wife is enjoying it. She's (we've) played all of the Dark Anthology games now also. Until Dawn is still the best in our opinion. Hope you've had a great bank holiday weekend.

Love the centurions, them quickshot sticks are defo cool, not sure one was released for the nes mind?

Power Xtreme mate! My Quickshot is compatible with: Atari/ Commodore, MSX, Amstrad and SEGA. I've definitely seen a NES compatible version out there. Search Ebay/ google?! Hope you've had a great bank holiday weekend Stu.

I'll wait until I can get a Horace nightlight 😉 Centurions "Power Xtreme!" There's a blast from the past 👍 Freak Out is one of the weirdest games I've ever played, and those boobies! Right! 😂 Buffy the Vampire Slayer Chaos Bleeds is a much better game, and you can get ghat on the better PS2 😉 If you're looking for Xbox experiences have you tried Crimson Skies? The Quarry is great, but I've enjoyed all the Supermassive games so far. Sweet pickups 😎👍

Hahaha, yeah Freak Out does look nuts for sure. Chaos Bleeds is on my radar, will probably punt for the XBox version though. I do like the PS2 mate. Have been more of a Sony Pony since the PS3 though. 😉 Yes, I have Crimson Skies. Will look to put that further up the ‘to play list’. Cheers Stew, hope all is well. 👊
