  The fokker G.1 was the first twin-boom aircraft. The American Airforce was inspired by this plane and build their own P-38 Lightning. The P-38 Lighning turned out to be one of the best long range fighters of that time. They were the only fighters capable of escorting allied bombers to their objective. Thus having a huge influence on the outcome of the war. All inspired by some fine Dutch craftmanship!

  The P-38s are my favorite aircraft in War Thunder. They climb very well, they are fast in low and high altitude, and they are very nimble, and they got very good guns.

  Play the premium P-36 in the American tech tree. You get a 50 cal can turn with the biplanes and severely out climb them too. Plus at Br 1.3 the opponents know nothing about dogfighting. Straight up easy mode.

  Tbh I’ve been more of a yak fan than the I-185, the M-82 version is a good interceptor but the M-71 version is straight ass. Like a more powerful MiG-3

  one big complaint i have with enlisted is that gajin has no idea what peripheral vision is the amount of times i've flicked onto my allies and got shot because of it is unmeasurable

  To your question about a a20 that had 20mm cannons there was a Russian a 20 that had 4 20mm shavak cannons in the nose and 4 in the bomb bay pointing down to hit ground targets

  On paper it was a revolutionary airplane. But, the engines were subpar (old fashioned was the only thing that was available for export). Nevertheless it was promising. But unfortunately it was bombed on the ground at 10th May 1940 before it could even go into battle. So we will never know.

  Il2 1942 full spade. Stealth mg rounds + armored target cannon belt. Its insane. And even works for headons with planes due to all the armor lol.

  I remember when this was fast in the horizontal after a dive. I would climb to max, dive on the enemy base, everyone would see my rainbow guns for a good 2 minutes before i fly through, drop my bombs, and then disappear off along the ground with a train of slow planes attempting revenge. 1000 kph all the way home. Climb and repeat.
