Basically, the su11 claps it, and the control lock up at high speed causes a lot of issues when facing jets that can fly as fast as it.

As a person who uses the F89D. It's an incredible aircraft if you play it right. It took me months to learn the aircraft. There have been games where I get 6-8 kills and games where I get killed by props in the first 2 min. At speed it turns like a school bus with no wheels and has such a big air frame it's easy to 1 shot.

you're about 2 years past it's in-game prime, the B used to have a higher fire rate, and could pen almost every vehicle from the roof (save for the MAUS). It's engines were also more powerful. On top of that, for a long time, the outer wingtip fuel tanks would make it so the plane couldn't lose it's wings, you could literally be hit with a missile and the wings were fine. It's since been nerfed into a shell of what it once was. Slower firerate, worse pen on the guns, worse engine performance. when it was good, it was at BR 7.7, and it was the king. Nowadays, it's still ok, but nothing compared to what it once was. the reason it sits so low now is that nobody really uses it much anymore, so the people who do use it usually are noobs to it, and as such, drag the stats further down.

The f89 is op until you realize your aim camera is above the rudder which means you can't lead for shit if your zoom isn't binded to your scroll wheel.

12:21 “speed” in wack thunder is ground speed (actual speed), ias is airspeed. If you are going fast enough in a climb that will happen because of lower air pressure at higher altitude

Hey webe , just so you know that IAS(indicated air speed) meabs that what the instruments in the aircraft shows you(speed). And the instruments in the aircraft uses air that is flowing by the aircraft. So speed is different. The speed means how fast you are relatively to the ground . So now lets join them . We know that when we go higher into the sky the air gets thinner and thinner so the air which is flowing by the aircraft , gets reduced as the aircraft is climbing higher. So the IAS goes down but actually your real speed goes higher, only if your aircraft can pull it self in that climb. ❤❤

The German Sea Hawk sits at 8.0 or 8.3 I believe because it has access to AIM-9B.

Play the premium P-36 in the American tech tree. You get a 50 cal can turn with the biplanes and severely out climb them too. Plus at Br 1.3 the opponents know nothing about dogfighting. Straight up easy mode.

I love the little afterburners! Its a shame you have to buy the B to be able to buy the D version with the meme rockets😢 Great vid as always man keep up the good work!

There was a shell in one of the belts with zero fragmentation and no dmg at all, dont remember by heart what was it

The only time I can kill this thing in the sk60b is with the manual missiles coz my turn rate doesnt mean shit if they can just extend away.

The F89D was king when it was first introduced with its lead indicator for the rockets. Now it only gets kills head on.

I hate this thing, especially going against SU-11s and all those biased Russian jets.

@@luka2625 yet it's much slower, has half the ammo and guns, and it's by far harder to aim since it's guns are both slow and imprecise, not turning is not a problem with the specs of the 89 bozo

Now this plane got a downtier so it’s at 6.7 which means it can go to 6.3 wayyyy easier… I’m gonna love buying this.

This and the other premium F89 people on your team would just TK you right off the bat on the air field that's how much people use to HATE this jet when it first came out. Mostly the F89D though and you don't see to many people playing the D version really anymore cuz most end up blowing up teammates with the rockets instead of the enemy.

There needs to be a historical year, and what generation jet needs to be taken into account when adding new jets and rating BRs for the jet match matching

7:30 thank you! I've been wearing this for so long. It needs split, into pre & post 50s, because for both planes & tanks, stuff designed in the 50s on at a different beast to stuff designed in the war. Tigers shouldn't be facing ATGMs & 262s shouldn't be facing stuff like this (though, that is also partially to be blamed on the ptw nature of FTP games)

I kinda wonder why they made the F-89B a premium? I would not be too confused if it was only the F89D but the F89B? Like Gajin could just add it to the us tech tree and it wouldn’t make much of a difference except for one extra plane.

So I was searching for it on the comments, but nobody said it first so I looked it up on Wikipedia: "First flight: 16th August of 1948" Holy sh*t is a pre-korean war jet with afterburner. Also it made its maiden flight only 8 months after the MiG-15 and 3 months after the F3D. So I guess if BRs were time-based it is on the correct BR.

Otherwise you get stuff like Me 163 at 7.0 because “it’s a WW2 thing” that will absolutely annihilate anything in the lobby. Time of introduction should never be prioritised over the performance of a vehicle In my opinion.

People either say it’s the most broken thing or absolute garbage. I’m in the camp of calling it garbage. I just can’t mesh with it. I’d take a 262 for the maneuverability all day long

@@WeBeStronk it’s turn rate may be fine, but I absolutely struggle with getting it’s nose on target. I mean I’m not a bad player. Like I pretty often get 4-6 kill games in the U1, but when I try flying my F-89 (both variants) I just can’t set shots up. Maybe it is just a style/skill issue, but the F-89 is hot garbage in my hands. Edit: I really like the idea of the jet and want to do well. I’ve watched so many videos to try to see what I’m missing. I will figure it out one day

this plane is actually unplayable if youre opponent knows what he is doing, u cant realy dive with it , it locks HORRIBLY at high speeds beyond 600, so you cant really do a hard turn if your opponent does a 180 and dives away, it does not roll or turn at all...basically if a support fighter at every br tbh. and good luck diving after enemys, 910 kph is rip speed.

Rank does not matter is an achievement you get when you kill a player with a significantly lower or higher player level, not vehicle br range

No it’s not, it is based on BRs. Rank does not matter is killing someone 1-2 BR ranks higher. Skill matters is 2-5 ranks higher and God mode is killing some whose vehicle is at least 5 BR brackets higher. Ex a P-26 killing a Me-262 would get god mode

Basically a direct adversary to the 7.7 LA-200 that got dragged down to 7.0... tells alot about the skillset of US air mains

The Problem is its America that nation is just the worst to play the players skill level is very low its similar to the German nation players and I'm at the point where America i would say is worse to play these days. The Meteor isn't trash the thing does great its still a great plane to play it out turns many enemy planes and it might not be the fastest but its still fast.
