So the Battle Rank works like this: - the hard rule is that there are only 2 match brackets. Battle Rank 1-3 and Battle Rank 3-5. If you have ANY BR 3 weapons or vehicles you can either end up top dog against mostly BR 1-2 and dominate or you will be bottom dog against BR 4-5 and be dominated. The battle you get is heavily dependet on how many ppl play what BR at that time. The fewer BR 5 players of your faction the higher the chance your BR 3s end up facing BR 5 enemies. (Yes you got insanely lucky that you did not encountered a Tiger 2. There are usually always Tiger 2s) - they recently added a soft rule where the ranks get split +/- 1 (so 1-2. 2-3, 3-4, 4-5) IF there are enough players to make for full teams in the ~2 minutes the game has to make up 2 teams. It's a big IF and it rarely happens. The consequence is: The safe bet is BR 5 and with some struggle BR 2 (because most of the time you will fight some BR 3). Everything else is mostly pointless and pain except BR 3 IF you are one of the a-holes who quits any battle where you are not top dog which a lot of people are doing because there is literally no repercussion for quitting a battle. The official explanation for why the hard rule and the soft rule: "not enough players". Is the problem because they take forever to implement bug fixes and constantly do half measures on things that need to change... who can say. p.s. tank HE is hilariously bugged atm. It'll bounce off the ground, it'll do no dmg when it hits a wall, it gets absorbed by tiny terrain features and at times, for no reason, it'll take out half a team behind 3 walls and a corner. the AP on the early Sherman is terrible most of the time. Barely any spalling or fragmentation. You are just shooting big bullets. Darkflow just hates the USA. RPzB 43 is basically a Panzerschreck Arn't cheap, easily deployable, permanent EVEN IF the placing squad is killed, mines just great? /s

You know I have a weird glitch in my games where the enemy team comes with explosives running towards me and blows me up

Thr Sherman 2 was really fantastic pre-merge when it used to mostly see italian AB41s that couldnt even hurt it while the Sherman could HE kill the AB41.

What do you mean the M4A1 struggles in War Thunder? Or any of the other early Sherman's for that matter? The guns are great, they're stabilized, the armor is very trolly (at least on the M4A2 and M4), and the mobility is workable...

The low br Shermans in WT are very seal clubby. The 3.7 sherman in the US tech tree is down right hilarious.

Yeah that irked me too, Shermans are one of the best tanks at their tiers, the 75 feels adequate and damage is usually very forgiving, being able to kill tanks in one shot.

Yea they're great. IMO they're just better than the 76mm T-34s due to the stabilizer and much better reload, they're capable enough against the Panzer IV except at long range, and while they have a hard time penning the KV-1, the reverse is also true. Calling them bad in War Thunder is wild, major skill issue.

biplanes has the mobility but lack of speed, if its tailing you its better to maneuver upward to avoid getting shot

I have fully upgraded my Crusader and I like it. Also since tier 3 is in the middle, your stuck fighting both sides of the BR ranking.

I see that this video was recorded over 2 months ago, new matchmaking made shermans even better, all tier 3 equipment in fact.

You are incorrect WeBe! (Love the channel! I just had to point out the minor error at the beginning of the video lol) The Sherman II is a 3.7br in rank 2 for GB on War Thunder so It’s only facing, at most, in an up-tiered match is an ARL-44 which is essentially the MAUS of Rank 2 and 3 but other than that your gonna be facing early t34’s, the pz IV and III series, the marder series, and at most from the soviets would be the KV2 and 1. The tigers and panthers you mentioned are all the way up in 5.3, 5.7, and 6.0 facing the sherman 76W models excluding the jumbo 76, but does have the 75mm Jumbo which is a more than capable variant to take a beating and maneuver around to make use of its 75mm m3. In conclusion Enlisted is actually closer to being unfair to the Sherman II variant than War Thunder by allowing the possibility for it to be up-tiered against the panther model which, even then, if you coil get on its side or disable its barrel, you could then maneuver to its side and take it out. Yes when talking about Rank III in War Thunder I was more referencing what is in Rank III in WT rather than where the Sherman II sits in the tech tree :)

I like the Sherman in war thunder and I never had issues killing anything white it maybe it depends on your play stile ( and I’m not saying that you can’t play the Sherman but it apend to me that I struggle whit some thanks that adders don’t so maybe it’s that )

Man, you are completlu wrong, the sherman in war thunder is a verry capa bleed tank, you just need to use it rigth, i perfer a sherman than a tiger, and im not american main,i play italy most, but it is the truth.

WeBe has THE most obnoxious laugh. His voice narration sounds fine, but just as soon as he laughs it's douche-level x1000.

i mean the sherman is also in warthunder good /you might just have no skill for it)

enlisted is an fps and war thunder is a vehicle combat sim they are not comparable.
