Reminds me of all the hours I've been walking threw the woods with a beginner Canon. Unfortunatly we in Germany can't go shooting in big cities...
The issue with charging with the USB is due to the battery, not the port. Only the new battery can be USB charged while in the camera. At least that’s my experience. Oh, and you can recycle your camera batteries (not alkaline) at any Best Buy stores or local county recycling centers. Common man, it’s not hard at all.
I prefer pics with more detail, most of what I see here is just shadows and light, not sure if you did this on purpose or the dynamic range of your camera is limited, or my monitor is off ......or need some new glasses ....or I don't know a thing about photography
Great video, thank you very much! I have recently acquired the Sony FE 20-70mm f/4 G lens. However, one thing is bothering me or rather I would like to clarify whether it is a general issue with this lens or whether it is a defect specifically with my lens. The lens makes a noise when focussing (with autofocus). By the way, the volume of the noise varies depending on the aperture setting. At f/4 the noise is very minimal, almost inaudible. From f/4.5, however, it is clearly audible. And the higher the aperture number (for example f/13), the longer it takes to focus and the longer the noise lasts. However, these differences are small. I am not yet familiar with focusing noises from lenses recently released by Sony. For example, the new Sony FE PZ 16-35mm f/4 G and the new Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 G OSS II are 100% completely silent. The older Sony FE 18mm f/1.8 G, on the other hand, also makes the noise described above, if I remember correctly. Does your lens also make this noise? Many thanks in advance!
I started watching you 6 months ago, watched all the 5min /10 min photography challenge you did with other photographers, I liked that. After I completed those, I haven't really watched anything. I would've loved to if I myself had a camera, I was eager to buy one, but then something unexpected happened and I don't wish to buy it anymore. Maybe I'll in 3yrs after I'm done with graduation. Cheers
I just saw you for the first time today - I searched for San Francisco street photography and one of your videos showed up. I enjoyed it and will be watching more. Keep up the good work.
The red TTartisan 50mm - it inspired me to take more photos. Got back into photography as a result.
Every picture you took is officially a wallpaper material ❤😊
How do you remove streaks from your Sony full frame sensor?
16:14 XD Love the locals
Очень хорошо снимает, особенно видео
Superbes photos monsieur Lambert et votre Instagram est en feu aussi!
i am 70 years old , german and italian speaking, and phothographing since 60 Years. I appreciate very much your englisch speaking, which i understand very good in contrast to most other english youtubers ! I do not use other media than youtube. I suppose you are a bit to much on a hurry and a perfectionist. So go along in a matter, you feel good and maybe slow down a little bit.
The details of your pictures are mindblowing 🤯
can i join you in one of these please? i can be in NYC
Whatever the direction you will take, it will be the best one. Thank you for everything you have shared with us. We love you as well.
Im Mitch, i shoot with Canon 1200D when i shoot 100 pictures i will have around 12-15 pictures i like
I watch both long and short form, if I had to describe why I think if it's I need a quick snip of info. Usually I'm looking at long format videos on technique. Gear is gear and I think that a good photog can make nice photo's with any gear. I shot for a long long time with Canon 50D but my glass was expensive and allowed me to achieve new styles etc. Gear is Gear do I like one color science over another yes (Fuji is my fav) but they are all APS-C today unless I want to shoot a GFX platform, which I would but not all the time. I want to learn and watch more about how you shoot why you composed etc. that makes me better and all of us. Gear is the tool but the thought process is the art and allows for easier/minimal post processing. Like I will look at lighting setups for off camera when I am needing to and it adds to the photo or video, but again I don't care about the light used or the stand and so on. To summarize long format for the art of photos and short format for gear I just don't want to watch a long vid for new gear review.
Ce n’est pas un objectif pour faire de la photo de rue. C’est stupide de faire une video dans ce sens.
Tu devrais regarder dans le viseur. Ce n’est pas un iPhone.
Fore-Broccoli. Is ready for Websters.
That’s why you need a light camera. So you can hold the broccoli. Photography just became easy
I wish Vegas wasn’t a dirty sand hole. One street is better than all of Vegas
.. is it another one of those "I am going to quit" videos that get released every few months?
I am Avery and depending on the subject or event, I use a Sony full frame a7riii, or my aps-c a6000. Mainly it will be the full frame a7r. This past holiday weekend I shot just over 400 and during culling and editing I have just under 150 left. I really like your content, and will be reviewing several times in the days to come.
Can you show us how you mount the camera on your chest for POV😊
Hi Sir, I’m a big fan of your photographs and photography travel shooting vlogs. Will you visit my country, Bangladesh? Any chances? Please mention it in one of your videos if you visit here. As you are in Nepal, you might like to visit Bangladesh as well. Thank you and best wishes to you.
Your street photography videos are the absolute best. I want to thank you for all the hours of entertainment and information you have provided. Also, I want to thank you for inspiring me to get out there and just shoot. I never would have thought I'd love photography so much. Thank you!
Hello sir, how do you edit your photos by setting there exposure and other things, as i can see in this video
what's the location of the store you got it from?
And why or about what are you confused?
I don't agree with what you said about straps and grips for dslr. For any beginner or even pro photographer, they are life savers= camera savers. It's the matter how proficient you are using them or how careless, you are.
First time watcher this evening, I love this kind of thing, I'm just floored how much you shoot in portrait orientation vs. landscape...my hand/wrist hurt just watching 😆
The problem with the algorythem is, that when you watch 2 videos from one channel, that channel is all over the front page suddenly and you can only get rid of it when you press the 3 dots and click: don't recommend channel (what i don't want to do). And also you only get those kind of videos on the front page suddenly. Every once in a while i notice that and i search for all my photography inspirations again (for example you) and then i watch a few videos again so i get the video recommendet again. Edit: i created this account for me, so i have all the photographers i love on the frontpage and i don't ruin that by clicking on random other videos. Also, don't stop Pierre! :) we need you here. ❤ Something i started to do, mainly cause i don't have the money to go to crazy places is, that i just post my simple, not spectaculare pictures. And my account grows very slowly, but it grows.
a fixed lens ?
1:01 I shoot at canon 250D and am happy with it. btw about how many photos I shoot a day I shoot anything I see if it's interesting or not, that helps beginners a lot just like it helps me ❤
I forgot to say what drew me to your channel in the first place. It was the pov photography videos. You take beautiful photos and do great editing. Those videos have inspired me a lot.
I don't think the attention span of people have gone down. I think that is a false effect of the platforms pushing short form content. Just recently a video that was about 4 hours long became very popular (it was about the Star Wars Hotel, by Jenny Nicholson (I think their name is)). Honestly I think the algorithm is to blame. It's probably being tweaked and isn't spreading your videos as much anymore. Personally I stopped watching you when you got into NFTs. I can't stand that crap. Same with AI generated crap. It's so anti art and anti creativity. All I personally want from this channel is pure photography content and human creativity.
Bonjour Pierre, ce serait tellement bien d’avoir ce genre de vidéo sur ta chaîne française. Bonne continuation
d750 just for fun
Ok no on the phone reflection. Novel first time done the rest is try hard. Naturally found is always cool. Am I wrong here Cc…?
Which camera do you use
Gear review channels is such a saturated space and one that was very exciting as a beginner just getting into photography. But once the honeymoon phase was over and I'd bought all the gear that I needed (and more), I wanted a channel that could teach me how to become a better photographer beyond just the gear. I love this channel exactly for that; it's such a gem!
10:25, this scares me, thats $4500
The waterfall pics at 11:31 look so good!
Smaller camera with tiny lens helps too. Like ricoh gr3x
I didn't expect anyone to understand me, but i see these cool cameras and the enthusiasm for taking shots but i always think, what do you do with all these hundreds of photos you take? A kid, a cool shop sign, people in the street, all nice, so you take photos. But once you have them what do you do with them? A few people can sell a few photos, but mostly you can't, so what do you do with them?
Love the video Pierre, top notch as usual. I have a question. While you are shooting in live view mode, how are you focusing? I noticed that you did not touch the screen one time to select a focus point or area. Thanks
I find mobile photography very natural i get the most candid and natural pictures full of life compared to how i shoot with my fuji camera.
and if you were to decide between R8 and Sony A7 III? thanks
