I am a beginner looking to buy a mirrorless camera. Please assist me in choosing among these three options: the Canon EOS M50 Mark II ($686 in India), Sony ZV-E10 ($740 in India), and Sony Alpha a6000 ($518 in India). Some have advised against the Sony a6000 due to its age and suggest that the Sony ZV-E10 would provide better long-term value. I welcome your recommendations or any other suggestions you may have.
As a repair technician and photographer, if you ever find yourself in such a situation, your first step should always be to remove the battery. If you choose to clean, it's advisable to use distilled water.

Don’t use water. Remove battery and find isopropyl alcohol. Also don’t pour it directly on the camera. Gently take a cloth soak it dripping wet and rub it clean. Also you can’t clean it in one go. Try going layer by layer, avoid the intricate areas in the beginning, clean the simpler flat areas first and work your way gradually to the tight spots and corners.

@@PierretlambertWhat is Tae?
I’m pausing at 6:20 to say that I think those photos look better than if there was an incredible sunrise. Maybe that is weird, but here’s why: I’ve seen thousands of sunrise photos. If these shots had an amazing sunrise, I would be feeling like I’ve seen them before. But those cloudy conditions and your amazing editing made the photos much nicer than a sunrise would, imo. These photos are showing me scenes that I don’t feel like I’ve seen before. Does that make sense?

Totally makes sense! Actually these grew a lot on me especially the one at 6:25 (I'll probably make it available for clients prints) which at the time I was not super stoked about because of my "expectations" but like you said something really comes through!

Hi Pierre, you came prepared for this Adventure with your van that was a mini house on wheels. I thoroughly enjoyed the photo with you and Jerome on the Van, it was Gnarly. And all the other photos were beautiful especially the one with the Moon behind those rocks. Loved the music it suited the occasion and i felt like i was at the movies with my Popcorn and Choc top ice cream. Thanks for sharing this video. 😃
Great video and location! So enjoyable to watch you!
What an amazing shot at the end. Great work.
That's an EPIC episode! I was so scared of that A1 thought. Also, i'm impressed by this thing's splash/waterproof design. I don't think every camera will survive this 😶 And Pierre, i have a question. Do you write all of the metadata (ISO, Aperture,..) on photos by hand, or are you using a sort of plugin to do this?
Another great video. I notice you and your other photographers seldom seem to use lens hoods even in bright sunlight - is that just for ease of moving around quickly or don't usually see the need? Thanks again.
i love watching his videos everyday, super entertaining keep it up
I really enjoyed this video! Looked so much fun to go out and shoot, minus the mud part😅
this was so good , wish you could have gotten that night shot tho
so nice i love this adventure and the pics so goood

Hmmmm.....I'm guessing you're sponsored by Sony because NOBODY else would sacrifice/ABUSE a cam body like that!! There's products out there called "camera covers"- plastic/clear- covering the whole camera. That + a clear front filter/lens...you're good to go. Been doing the same for 30+ years.... after the shoot you can throw away the mess.
😅❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hello Sony....no new firmware on my A1?....OK, I destroy it 😃
with that kind of results - definitely not worth it

Why not just bring a watertight transparent case for the camera+lens, even one used for shooting underwater if you really couldn't find anything better. Yet another example of how capitalism rewards not people who are wise but people who shout the loudest - and we end up in such situations where people with no foresight end up being able to afford an A1 but are too limited to think that putting it next to a deep muddy puddle with a vehicle going fast through it is a good idea. And then they call the camera being wet and possibly damaged 'crazy'. It's not crazy, it's to be expected and a primary school pupil could tell you as much, and a junior high student would tell you as much, too, but with much less shouting. What's not to love about that justice.

Good point! I shot the second time with a plastic bag. I usually use one but thought it’d splash before where I was. Sending much ❤️ ps, had someone I know fall in a mud river in the Amazon forest with his A1 and spend 3 months with 90% humidity in the rainforest and it was perfectly fine.

Used to watch this guy’s videos, but as you watch more and more it’s easy to see how cavalier and careless he is with is gear. You can pass it off as “using my gear, not babying it” sure, but over time, it’s clear to see that you come from money and have no respect for it. As a watcher, it’s a huge turn off.
