The vulture pillar, with the handbags. Someone just figured out that the handbags sculpted all over that part of the world are buckets. That pillar looks like a statement about irrigation.

Got to the pottery bit. Ok no pottery, but there was a ceramic industry in Dolni Vestonic, Moravia, around 25,000 BCE. So were the people of Gobekli Tepe 15,000 years behind the curve? A clay mask was found on the site so they knew how to work and dry clay. It's a couple of steps to firing it if it's the right clay.

I’ve always wanted to pat a bear. They’re so cute!!! Maybe growing up in Australia so far away from them has removed the fear I’m supposed to feel towards them? They’re so fluffy and their little ears make them look so adorable 🐻 Thank you for explaining this history

how does Hecate fit into this? Doesn't she fulfill a similar role as the ferryman of escorting souls? Or she finds them and takes them to ferryman? Just curious.

In India the 3 upper caste or Varna is Brahmin Kshatriya and vashya. Brahmin is the priest Kshatriya is warrior and vashya is commoner. Sudra are the native Indians living previously in India who were made slaves whereas Brahmin Kshatriya vasya came from Europe .

Pretty weird coincidence that two different armies attacked things that burn (ships and tents) with fire. No one's independently thought of that before.

😂❤😊 THANK YOU, KINDLY PRAY DEAR SIR, MAY GODLY WISDOM LIGHT & GUIDE WORLD LEADERS, THE WORLD OF NATIONS, ALL OF HUMANITY. PEOPLE IN LEADERSHIP ARE JUS LIKE ALL HUMANKIND, WE ARE ALL IMPERFECT HUMAN BEINGS CAPABLE OF MAKING MISTAKES, & MEN & WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP MAKE DECISIONS THAT AFFECT HUMAN LIVES. MAY GOD KEEP YOU STRONG & ABLE, HEALTHY & HAPPY, THANK YOU AGAIN, I SAY ALELUAH! YOU HAVE FOUND SOMETHING WORTHWHILE & ITS BEEN ENTERTAINING. I AM FROM PHILIPPINES, OUR "FOLKLORE STORY" APART FROM THE EUROPEAN CULTURE THAT CAME TO THE PHILIPPINE ARCHIPELAGO, AS SPAIN CAME TO COLONIZE THEN AMERICA CAME AFTER, IS THAT MAN & WOMAN CAME FROM A BAMBOO PLANT THAT OPENED & INSIDE THAT SPLIT WOOD WERE THE MALE & FEMALE CREATURE, THATS HOW HUMAN BEINGS BEGUN, THEIR NAME IN ORIGINAL ISLAND CULTURE OF THE PHILIPPINES WERE "MALAKAS & MAGANDA" TO MEAN MAN AS "STRONG" & WOMAN AS "BEAUTIFUL" THUS WHATS KNOWN IN GENESIS &/OR CHRISTIANITY AS ADAM & EVE WERE MALAKAS & MAGANDA IN ORIGINAL CULTURE OF THE ISLANDERS OF THE COUNTRY NOW KNOWN AS PHILIPPINES.

These two videos are excellent interviews. What I think stands out, and that Dr Carrier obviously appreciated, is that you asked intelligent questions that he could give intelligent answers to. Great work by both of you!

The carvings may or may not depict grain from what I know, but exclusively male animals are extremely prevalent. This is consistent with what we know of hunter-gatherer diets, they’re not generally grain heavy. So, is it possible that this could have been a storehouse for any excess food, including meat? Could meat have been smoked or dry-cured in this cool, shady space? If carcasses were hung up, that would explain the need for very high ceilings. The all-male cast of characters could be a depiction of suitable hunting targets, leaving females alive to produce the next generation of meat.

Well, what's out of it is that you started off with some Māori. I'm in nZ and in the waipoua forest is a great Daddy kauri tree , the light bringer . NZ being the birth place of the gods they say. Tane mahuta, the son kauri tree is synonymous here. He is the son of ( atlas) . And I only found out there is 4 sistar kauri trees that are all measured in a line same distance from each other. I researched Matariki which is a new public holiday here , but as I looked into it further , the Waitata were the first peoples here, not Māori and there is an old archaeological stone city in the forest , which has had an imbargo put on it for 60 years. Considering this is where light comes to first in the world, it's also where the old dark energies left. They say the North Island got pulled up like a fish out of the water . Now onto the bit where you talked of being sprouted from dung. I've studied homungulous before , they could make humans with the seed of a man, and it would grow in dung, or a cows ass lOL but no jokes. Of course they experimented with this. As far back as the 1800s they were looking into it. You have given me a piece to the jigsaw that I needed. Thanks if you would like me to send you the link to the myth of the light bringer let me know . Love your work

She is Wisdom, and those with the proper understanding can gain Her assistance. She is Yggdrassil ... Body. He is the Eagle ... Consciousness. Together they are Nerthus ... Great Mother ... It fascinates me that the word "worm" features in the charm against disease. I wonder if this is due to unsanitary conditions under which people in that region lived, and people noticing parasites like pinworms in their dung, which was often used as fertilizer and kept the cycle of infestation going.

You should consider adding “ASMR” to one of your titles or something like “Learn The Origin of Odin and Relax ASMR”… Because these brilliant videos are basically perfect educational ASMR and I think you could potentially reach a new and huge audience by helping the algorithm understand that your content is perfectly suited for relaxation. This channel is criminally underrated.

With little other distractons at night, would imagine the first of the human ape race watched the night sky, fascinated by changing but ultimately predictable repeating shows. Suspect that's where science, theory and religion had its beginnings in that order.

Considering we are the 6th civilization (5 previous extensions) and an omnipotent God (what people call the "universe") which is an omnipotent energy vibrated as science points out as comparable to a breathe being exhaled, (the breath of life), or sudden explosion of sound/vibrations which would be waves of energy or a thought shot into the darkness a light - sudden expansion/explosion of particles & atoms... ...Considering biologically speaking the earth, every living thing to include humans have an extremely intricated and extensive internal biological intelligent design (individually) that are all thrown into one large mixing pot which keeps the life cycle going....I think there is a little bit of truth to many aspects of history out there. I don't know, this is how my brain works. I think the logical aspects of all historical cultures to include our modern civilization today...I think it all comes together explaining the same historical story with the individualities of colorful exaggerated aspects of each culture acting as a great divide.

Oddly enough, w/o science, but rather through observation, our Indo-European forebears weren't wrong about the material foundations of people, life and the planet. We are in fact all made of the same stuff from the cosmos. In this sense, we think like them. The metaphysics movement captures the same spirit - oneness with the universe.

This is actually a fascinating look into how these people understood what we now know to be various cycles in nature. The salt in the sea really is the run-off from the land. The water really does carry solutes from the land out to sea, where evaporation creates pure water again and returns it to the land. They would have been able to observe that lands that are drained with a continuous flow are much nicer (for humans) than marshy areas where water stagnates (and you get tons of "xrafstars".) All those dead creatures are a part of the carbon cycle, whereby carbon shifts back and forth from CO2 to living systems to minerals.

The works of the great poet, Homer, are filled with words that not only survive in Albanian, but continue to be used. From Homer you can get not only words, but also phrases that possess all the signs of a typical Albanian expression. If someone were to interpret Homer from the Albanian language perspective, much light would be shed on the works of that famous poet. Between Homeric and Albanian sentences there is a striking resemblance in expression, phraseology and sentence structure. A study of this nature would help interpret Homer, since the Albanian language is older than that of Greece (Science Magazine 2023), much can be learned about the influence of this [Albanian] on Homeric and later Greek. 9:10.. I haven’t seen the other videos yet.. ..it just reminded me of several things.. ..((preface this with the fact that I have a weird memory issue, if I read it somewhere, it’s IN my head, if not, I’m really fuzzy on where it comes from, if I remember whatever it is in the first place.. memory issue is wicked long complicated story)) So.. I’m approaching “old” at this point.. and I had a highly “unusual” childhood.. the whole thing about spells, herbalism and illness or ‘poison’ leaving the body has several links I can remember.. first, the books I had on Wicca and related things in the late 80s were full of similar worded ‘spells’.. .. there is a general ‘format’ for “addressing” the spirit/entity/illness and commanding it to do whatever.. .. I was instructed in the 80s by someone, either the homeopath or the Tibetan Pulse Doctor that infestations of the body, say, ie poison ivy.. leaves your system from the core, out.. meaning that when it’s showing up in your fingers and toes, it’s finally actually LEAVING the body.. Also.. I was obsessed with herbal/wild medicinals as a kid.. and had found some old reprinted books back in the 80s.. the interesting thing about researching something “backwards” is that in looking for information on herbal remedies and such, you start to find the accompanying history along with it.. there are books out there that give you really great information on herbal properties as well as the history associated with it, sometimes going WAYYYYY back in time.. which, if one was so inclined, could be used as a source for secondary sources to search for.. I’m happy to get lots of references that are a few hundred years old, but that means there’s countless references and name drops to take to the library and see what else can be dug up.. it’s fascinating stuff.. As a prehistory nerd, as in Paleolithic is my FAVORITE, the types of herbs and fungi that are found in relation to archaeological sites are fascinating and enlightening.. that Otzi the IceMan was carrying the SAME stuff that us bushcraft/backwoods survival people are still using to this day, is so SO interesting.. 😁😁

Little do people know there are some musicians who still learn the very old methods of learning music. The pipers who play pibroch. Passed down person to person for five hundred years, the notes sung in a form called Canntaireachd. Many o the songs played in piping and gaelic music have the temps and melodies with lilts and such because it's based on gaelic, a very different language than english.
