You lost me at the colonialist bit. Yes, there are wrongs in our history, but you say nothing of the good that has been done or mention that towns in Australia, grew by people who emigrated there, freely or not and loved their home and worked their arses off to make Australia a place where you can freely sit by a beautiful beach and drink a beer

As someone who grew up and still lives around Caboolture, this is pretty accurate, but really it’s not a bad place to live 😂

Its amazing to see this type of content. Nothing is more targeted or at home for a QLD local. The representation is crazy. But shhhh don't tell people about Stanthorpe, its an absolute hidden gem that hasn't been polluted by a million tourists.

Brisbane is a tangled MESS of huge, packed roads and ugly buildings, with a river of mud running through it,. Only munted, brain-damaged people live there. I should know, coz I lived there for 10 years. I must have been insane!

If you’re still in your youth it’s not such a bad place to live. It’s in-between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast. 20 min drive to some kickass mountains and hiking trails. A few spots for rock climbing and bouldering. You’ve got 2 swimming holes in rocks burg when it gets hot. There’s 2 Korean BBQ restaurants in the area, also checkout Thai Bamboo for authentic thai food. When you’re bored just go to Mt Mee for a scenic drive.

I had to do a 3 day course in Caboolture about 7 years ago: in that 3 days a drive by shooting happened, a stabbing happened, an old lady got robbed in the street, saw a crackhead take a shit on the train platform, and a young girl tried to hang herself on a tree outside of where I was doing the course…no joke: in a span of 3 days. I have never gone back to Caboolture since 😂

Cabooltures claim to fame is a Kiwi moved to Morayfield when he was 17 from New Zealand it’s hilarious how Caboolture claim he’s Aussie 🥴 i personally know Keith Urban he used to live in Morayfield when i was a kid and now they have changed the name of part of Morayfield to “South Caboolture” 🥴😂😂😂 i have always hated Caboolture i remember as a kid in the 80’s and early 90’s everything in Caboolture was painted Pink. My Primary School, The Pub in King Street etc and i remember Kmart in King Street used to sell guns lol they used to sell nice dairy products etc my parents owned a Strawberry Farm on Pumicestone Road next to the old Steggles chicken farm and Caboolture has always been a 💩 hole full of farkin clowns QueeNZland is like one big Caboolture 👍😂😂😂

To its credit the Burdekin area has only one traffic light and two or three stop signs making driving a breeze unlike Sydney. Free parking all day everywhere. Ayr and Home Hill both have a 50 metre swimming pool and the latter is heated in colder months. Both Woolworths and Coles have 100 metre wide stores but do not open on Sundays. Swimming for oldies costs from 2 dollars. There are four hardware stores, one KFC, Subway, Red Rooster and Maccas in Ayr. There is a golf course, an RSL club, and many schools. Southerners went north in the COVID era and for many of these reasons, stayed. Money from the sale of one apartment in Sydney proper can still buy around 8 in the Burdekin. The ratio of rental income to purchase price per annum is around 11 percent. on a 100,000 dollar unit as it can be rented for at least 220 per week. And two horse racecourses. there is one drive in theatre - one of the last in Australia still operating and many gyms. The hospital is well equipped with many beds and rapid service from doctors, but they also have a very large helicopter for transport to Townsville for critical cases plus chiropractors offices, a bowling alley, and several Asian restaurants and coffee shops. Their meat pies have a very high reputation. However, your article is very funny, and generally correct except for these slight corrections. Keep up the good work.

Can confirm caboolture has a big problem with rubbish washing into the waterways. I used to kayak in waraba Creek which flows into the caboolture river. Every couple of weeks id fill the whole kayak up with rubbish. There's also a big problem with invasive aquatic plants in the creek such as salvinia and cambomba.

After you've had your fill of the gold coast and want another life changing experience take a trip to cairns north qld. Wall to wall crackhead action day an night, the indigenous locals doing what comes naturally with their unique version of welcome to country in the form of a very artistic offering of a drunken fighting and fucking medley on every second street corner, throw in a countless number of europien tourist that treat the place like their own personal rubbish bin.....and it goes on like this but dont take my word for it go have a look for yourself.

An urban area that could be home to 70,000 people will be built on Brisbane's doorstep in the north. With around 30,000 homes once complete, Caboolture West, will become the size of a regional city. They must be doing something right in Caboolture.
