    What I don't understand about the management of Samsung is that they've gone through this yo-yo of snapdragon and exynos processes for the last few years, when will they learn, no one likes exynos.

    What about Tile?

  • @mrj.juneau
    @mrj.juneau18 сағат бұрын

    Tille's ecosystem is very small. The only pings you will get from a tracker. Some somebody else who has the tile app installed on their phone, so it's not the same kind of comparison.

  • @BriefNerdOriginal
    @BriefNerdOriginal17 сағат бұрын

    @@mrj.juneau you're right. I didn't get that they aren't offering (yet?) compatibility with the Find My network of Android. Hope they will. Competition is what makes Android a much nicer option than Apple (for me at least)

  • @mrj.juneau
    @mrj.juneau16 сағат бұрын

    @BriefNerdOriginal Agreed. I hope more companies will make a device for the network. But if they don't, I'm sure they will be left behind. My problem is from what I understand is if you have A tracker for tile, it's not compatible with the new network. They'll probably have to make another tile, That's compatible with the network which will annoy me too cause, I have quite a few tile trackers already. And would rather just switch them over.

    I will not switch to using these until Google changes the Find My Network to be an "opt out" network instead of the way they launched it as an "opt in" network! Making it so that every android user must manually opt in to the network makes it borderline useless since most people will not do so. Tracking of these devices should be automatically enabled on all android devices like it is on iPhones.

    Crying with my Pixel 7 Pro 😢 It's still considered new to me. If was promised AI features with the G2 chip. Yet all I see is Pixel 8 this and Pixel 8 Pro that. It really hurts me that features that get announced get cut from the previous generation Pixel devices. I haven't received any new software updates for my Pixel 7 Pro as of this writing. Not even a security update for June. It's literally June 17th. 🤦‍♂️

    Typical Goole they choose the middle middle & less useful location option, the default should be in High areas gblet users change that if they want otherwise the Find my device network is way less useful for the majority of us they would misplace items in non HIGH traffic areas.

  • @DavidHager1

    Thanks for actually using them for a week before the review, way better the people who used them for like two hours then rush out a review to be first. You should do a follow up in like 1 month and 6 months to see how it is as more phones get the find my device updates. I'm on a pixel 7 pro and I barely got it, and you know how slow people with locked phones updates can be through carriers, which is most people here in the U.S. at least.

    About usb-c rechargeable vs battery cell replaceable, wouldn't the second one be more convenient since the battery won't deteriorate over time with charges?

  • @mrj.juneau
    @mrj.juneau22 сағат бұрын

    For the tag itself, I totally agree. I don't see a problem with replacing a battery every year or so. But for the card I like having the idea of recharging it when I need because the other one doesn't have a replaceable battery.... As for the degradation of the battery at Multiple charges. It would take 100+ charges before there would be a degradation. Due to charging. The website says it'll last eight months in between charges, even if we bring that down to four months. We're talking many many years Before the battery would degrade because of the multiple charges. It'll probably be obsolete by that time anyway.

    I bought this phone and unfortunately it has a lot of things you don't know beforehand: 1) impossible to take photos at 50 mpx by default! You have to go to the photo menu every time, and in the "plus" tab choose 50 mpx. It's just nonsense! 2) You can't use the zoom lever on the professional kit if you choose the 'raw' photo format. This is really very disappointing for a camera of this price that claims to be "professional"!
