@@coryv5679 Firstly not everyone has a phone capable to do that. Secondly when traveling not every turist has access to mobile data and even getting the app needed is a problem. Also keeping the app uptodate is a hastle. Lastly You havent been to many museums have you? those are the reasons why most museums still use dumb devices.

Love the design so much. The AI also response quite quickly 👌
I feel this is a much better thought out product compared to the AI pin. In the full review can you compare this to Gemini assistant in Pixel devices?
The price alone makes this a much easier sell than the (in)Humane pin. It looks quite nice, too.

Can it be make into an App? With a native LLM-based assistant in a smartphone with more processing and connectivity capability, this could work as an app. I see potential for fully integrating into a more intuitive phone UI.
Did the software start as a smartwatch ROM? Is that why it never wants to use touch control?

The Rabbit R1 looks like hella fun to use
They forgot about the simple things.. simple damn volume controls 😅 a convenient way to control thr device.. things that have been already mastered.. they try to over complicate because they don't want to look like a phone.. look.. if a circle wheel works! Don't try to make it a square.. just use what works.
Not like this thing is any good, but what is he talking about with the rotating crown? It's called a scroll wheel - this thing is not a watch.
I think it's not until they manage to put this in a more interactive form factor such as in a robot pet or something resembling a "companion" will the tech take off in the market

@@body187j3x1 What? If you have an Android you can say hey Google and it will respond and you don't have to click anything. Which you can tell it to do things on your behalf... You can tell it to get you an Uber to whatever location and it an set it up and for what time. There is a lot you can do with your phone... You can have the Alexa app buy things for you off Amazon and do other things. I can have Alexa tell me there is someone at my door if motion is spotted on my Cameras hooked up to Alexa. I can have Alexa alert me if my house is below a set temperature and she will turn the heat up if I set it up that way or she can ask if I would like to have the heat turned on. What I got from this is you have never used Google Assistant before or any app that can do everything this Rabbit R1 can do. The R1 literally still can't do everything by itself you have to do things still... My crappy Chinese phone can do everything the R1 can do and much, much, much more... So, wrong comparison. I mean it has a Laser Projector and a 15,500 mAh battery while still having different AI.
This did everything Humane did, but better and cheaper.
They put so much thought into a product design and then they ignore a substantial percentage of the population who are lefties. Is the entire design team right handed? Why can't they make it ambidextrous? (sad)

Again... whats the point if smartphones can do all of these? Its not innovation if u just create something and add 'ai' features.... heck, ur smartphones uses AI all the freakin time, also able to use AI assistant much like humane and or rabbit.... i really dont understand companies slapping 'AI' into some product thinking it is innovative and will be the "next smartphone"... like cmon, really? I dont see both products beong successful... even with the benefit of doubt about being their first product, either the technology isnt ready, or these products wont succeed as they are not viable replacements for smartphones... 🤷♂️🤷♂️

I don't exactly know what it's supposed to be but I do know it's not supposed to be the next smartphone. It's meant to be a companion device, why anyone outside of people who have the disposable income to buy a cool little gadget would want it I have no idea, but it's not supposed to be the next smartphone.
And, nothing learned
Useless overpriced crap
That had to be the absolute worst review I’ve ever seen on KZread. You spent the entire time talking about a square and you didn’t add no time say what is the purpose of this object.
