I keep the top open about an inch and the bottom the same for temp control. That was an older version of the daisy wheel and it used to fall all the way open when the grill lid was raised

Not sure when I’ll get around to making a video on this as we just got a good snow fall the other day and the grill I want to use for this is buried in the backyard now, but I’ll definitely give you a shoutout when I do for putting this in my head to do.

Hey bud great video. What can a person expect to pay from a local butcher for the raw tomahawk steak? Is that a special request to have them cut it that way? Just curious what they normally cost!

I’ve seen them anywhere from $50-$100 depending on quality. It’s really just a ribeye with the bone left on.

Thanks so much Bill. I would go one of 2 ways : you can use a cast iron skillet on the Weber and also GrillGrates.com has a set that fits the Weber. They are fantastic for getting nice grill marks and you can flip em upside down and use it as a griddle.

Nice! I've got grillgrate too and thought smashing might not work with the holes but it does. Ever think of repositioning the burger on the flip to a different spot that has a higher heat? If you flip and replace in the same spot it won't be as hot as the others. Thanks for sharing.
