    Unfortunately, no. Lenders typically do not lend on MEC policies. The policyholder is still subject to taxes.

    I was wondering if you would be willing to make a video comparing 401K to WL. I max out 401K annually what if I stop for several years and shift all those funds into WL ? Could you do a comparison from growth and tax perspective?

    Love this! I share this with my clients. I would only say that the “negative hit of 11%” on the cash is a “downside” but I think it’s important to mention that they are also buying permanent life insurance that in the future could be used for LTC.

    I liked how you taked about what the cash value is earning vrs the cost of taking the loans to see if it makes sense. Do you have a video that talks about how the pua fee(s) affects the true rate of earnings on the cash value? I'm stuck on the fact the fee can be 10, 12, 15% of the amounts you are putting into your policy's cash value. Looking just at the short term the added fees seem to eat up any earning potential. If you look long term it might be one recoups the loses. Especially if you're able to stop making premiums. But there is an added rider cost? So after 8, 10, 15, 20, 30 years will the policy owner start earning the guaranteed minimum interest rates? Minus what? Loan fees/ interest?🤔

    Great video, Show up front interest in the first 7-10 years of the mortgage. Most people don’t see that. I have been teaching my daughter this since I started her IBC Insurance. Also I think that you mentioned that the max you can save in the policy but didn’t show it. You showed the money you wanted to use in the illustration. Most of the data should be explain how much you can put into your policy each year and stay under the MEC for 7 years. Everything else was on point.

    Interesting video, thank you. If the cost to borrow is high (let's call it 4.31% like in your example), isn't it the case that: (1) it does not matter as long as the use of the loan gets a higher return than 4.31%; (2) the underlying dividend rate of the policy rate does not matter. In other words, this is my understanding: The "negative spread" objection applies only when the cost-to-borrow exceeds the ROI of the investment of those borrowed funds. am I missing something?

    Around the 12:30 mark you said “as long as the money is paid back before year 20” am I missing something? I’ve never heard of that before. My understanding is any loan could be outstanding as long as it doesn’t exceed cash surrender value and even then- no time limit

  • @IAmMzJess
    @IAmMzJess11 күн бұрын

    True. Steve was showing an example of compounding growth. If you replenish the funds used for a loan by a certain time period, it will look as if you never touched the funds for a loan in the first place.

    As a person building wealth and who builds it as an insurance agent, it can factually tell u that all smart wealthy people have TONS of insurance and the best insurance at that. U seem very angry and ignorant. U likely don't have access to any wealthy people, just based on your outlook, but if u do go ask them what they have insurance on. They're going to list everything including their life as well as things u wouldn't have ever thought of.

    To "self insurance" is one of the most idiotic concepts we've discussed hun. That means if you cause 1 car accident, you're paying for EVERYTHING out of pocket including all repairs, totalled cars, injuries and death! That would/ could bankruptcy even a wealthy person. No logical person would do that. If u died today how much money do u have for your family to bury you and cover your final expenses?? How much money do u have set aside for every person who depends on your income?? U have no idea how life insurance works dear. Go educate yourself.

    Great explanation, I have learned so much from your whole life videos, cannot wait for your Annuity ones. Is the income annuity a product by itself or does it have the lifetime income benefit rider attached to it? If so, what does that rider work/do. I have also heard that at one point, if you pass away you cannot leave whatever is left to your beneficiaries, is that for all annuities? Thx

    I need for you to talk to my wife. I have infinite banking whole life policy fully funded with 5th anniversary in September. I have a large policy loan, but have paid interest yearly. I own rental properties and the sale of 2 of my 7 properties would be enough for me to pay off policy loan. My wife wants to keep properties so kids will inherit. I cannot convince her that would be better to sell properties and pass on whole life policy rather than house which would be a huge tax burden for them. She won’t budge. You articulate the whole life policy benefits well. How do I get you to talk to my wife?

    Appreciate the honesty, most Insurance agents focus on high base premium under the guise of your best interests.. however it's approximately 50% commission on the base premium the first two years. This was eye opening for me and I had to push my agent to let me have the lowest possible base premium and highest cash dump room. Appreciate you are not greasy. Long term you will retain your clients by doing the right thing.
