What’s the best shallow and deep powder-specific board that can deal with various types of and angles of powder (steep or Japan style)? I looked at a 420ph/super float an Endeavor Archetype and a Korua Uberegg. I really want it to take to Japan. I'm a solid intermediate, 190 in gear, size 12. I ride a Yes Standard and a Greats.

Thanks for the review! I have a 164 Korua Dart. I enjoy it, but it can be a bit of work sometimes turning it. (I'm 53 and 6'- 230 lb... 31 yrs riding). Not to mention, it can be quite chattery at times, too. Wondering if the 9000- 164 would be a better option for still carving hard when i want, but also being able to do more mellow, but still precise turns without having to put 100% of my big ass into it, (along with that heavy front foot to initiation of the Dart), p.s Have also been looking at the Cafe Racer, along with the Stranda Shorty as well. Thanks for any advice.

First time viewer, Im comfortably riding blue/black runs, looking to push myself next season and powder hunting in Alaska and Japan. I am really looking at this board to add for powder days since it's now last season's model and on sale. Im 5'6" 160lbs with a size 9 boot. I have only ever ridden in a centered stance as my boards have been twins so your review was very interesting. My main board is a 151cm Lib Tech Off Ramp. Currently looking at either the 151 or 154, any recommendations?

I really love this board. The review makes it sound a bit basic but I don't think that's what the reviewer was going for. It's a good and solid board that does carves and powder really well. Even at speed. You'll love how "chill" it can be. Some people think it's boring that it makes things so easy but hey, everybody wants something else. I enjoy riding this thing and not having to struggle too much in the 7 to 12/14 days a year im enjoying the mountain. It's not so much designed for park but I guess you can do some jumps with it. The thing is there are better boards that are better at park. When I feel like jibbing etc I take another board but in general I ride this one.

It’s a rad board for sure, but I still preferred the ride on the K2 Alchemist overall. That said, the Nidecker might be a better choice if you’re heliboarding and heading to some serious steep alpine spines. If I were fully reliant on a board to get me out of an avalanche situation before getting swept away, I think I’d take the Nidecker instead haha
