I got the 23/24 Angry Snowboard's Avran LeFeber Pro Model. It rides very aggressively so much so, that it automatically locks onto the heat signature of the fat family of skier's picnicking on the middle of run and the board just plowed over them. I'm still not sure why that happened but the board's structured base is still intact so no need to wax it for it's next adventure!

I used to have an early 2000s Forum Devun Walsh, cool graphics of some sort of cat! Anyway loved that board, good to see his name back!

Love my alternator! Favorite board I rode this season

Just bought my second board to replace my Rossi Evader, bought a Burton Custom Camber (40% off) almost 100$ less than Capita DOA.. I loved how carving it is the locked feeling and super stable completely different than my old beginner board.. didn't catch any edge yet after 3 days.. it's my only board for do it all.. I know the pink 2023 graphic it's better and the orange/white design is questionable but for 40% off was game changer to pick this board.

Great list, as always. I'm just glad Rasman's model is no longer called the T. Ras xD Speaking of the Aeronaut, I bought a 2024 Kazu Pro, which has the same construction as the Aeronaut, and it's definitely on the aggressive side. Rode it for a week at Whistler, and had a blast on it, though. Great board that I'll be using as my daily driver from now on. I do find it a little weird that the new Kazu has a milder camber profile than an Arthur Longo board, hahaha.

hey. great reviews. i'm looking to buy my very own board, and i have it down between the ride peace seeker and bataleon beyond medals. i'm the oldest guy on the planet; just turned 38, and i have no plans of doing tricks in the park. i really enjoyed carving in just going downhill, in sunshine, lake louise, and mont tremblant. plan to do more next year. thanks!

I’m riding the Rasman this year and I gota say it’s top notch. I take it everywhere. Park laps with the homies, floats in pow and rips up groomers. Good pop easy to butter. I fully trust this board at high speeds. Everyone wants the T rice or the orca so this board is overlooked but if you want more soft flex and like park I highly recommend this board.

Ehh I have a trice 153 and use it as a jib board or for pow. I have a doa 155 and a trice 153. The doa is great for jumps but not a whole lot else. The trice 153 for me, just washes out on jumps if you don’t land bolts. I’m just having trouble finding something that works for both jump line and rails. Interested in the huck knife, evil twin, or rasman. I want them all lol

Picked up an alternator this year. I put the bindings back one set to ride powder. Boy does it ever. Point it steep. Ride it fast.

I was highly considering going for the Nitro Alternator but went with the K2 Passport instead, after seeing your review for that... Hope I didn't make a mistake, I guess they're also pretty different boards.. But after one ride on the Passport, do notice it having a heavier feel under foot, not being very lively. The conditions were also slushy so maybe that's why..

Would you consider the K2 Antidote as Sage Kotsenberg's pro model? Kinda surprised not to see that one on this list. Rides pretty similar to the Aeronaut in my opinion, maybe a touch more damp.

Hello Angry sir, long time follower, sbforum days, ice coast guy from Utica. I’m tripping over here about f’n waist width because I have a SIZE 14 BOOT. I’m on a 157 all mtn 26.9 waist and a 151 slush slasher 28.6 waist. I want to buy more boards but I really don’t know what waist size truly suits me. My rule of thumb was to go no less than 26.4 but I’m second guessing now. Should I go more narrow for park and more wide for groomers woods steeper stuff and chunder?HELP! thanks man 👨🏻 I’ve had my eye on that beyond medals, a wallie, party wave, Gentem and Moss, a DF NS, some public boards, I just demo’d a NS recurve camber twin, so all sorts of rides. Trying to get some exposure. I want to pick up a couple. I survived the Orca pod passing by without sacrificing flesh. Trying not to fall for that marketing you speak of! But I was a NS fanboy from 08-17 lol, blame my local shop, trying to learn now! thanks again 🎤

Hyperkyarve is more directional and slightly softer in the nose through the front foot.

I have both. Nitro is more playful, deep fake is stiffer and more of a charger.

Best board I have ever ridden. Amazing in pow, amazing at carving groomers…ridding switch is the only thing it doesn’t do better than everything else I’ve ridden, but it shouldn’t.

Pros, oh boy does Winterstick have the pros, or retired pros. Nothing is more pro than the very first pro the legend Mr.Tom Burt. Man up to the TB 172 if you think you got what it takes to ride like a pro. For some all everything domination and baked slalom speed laps, the Seth Wescott pro will do you sooooo good. Oh, more all mountain freestyle fun? No problem get on and ARK, a what? A Rob Kingwell, get it? A R K. Even better get on a custom board designed exclusively for you. I'm no pro but my custom build is the most mind blowing board I've ever ridden. Why ride a board designed by and for anyone other than yourself? I'm a Wintersticker and I approve this message.

My heart rejoices. I can now care year round (weekly).

I really want to like that capita, next years version is even for sale now and I want it, but gezzzuzz that’s a stiff plank… I’m on a DOA this season and it’s kinda a one trick pony. Little disappointed with it. Too stiff.
