I remember in a younger video you refering to your tremolo and how you aren't happy yet with where you are to hearing this performance. Bravo!
Thanks

Thank you. This was so informative. I am practicing Sor studies this summer on a Manuel Rodriguez Model B student classical guitar. You motivate me to keep practicing and look forward to acquiring a higher quality guitar one day.
Great to hear! Thanks
Ah! I’ve been to that luthier in Sevilla! I’m considering going back to get one, how are you getting on with the guitar? Sounds lovely! 👍👍👍
Good but I bought a Conde and mainly playing that now
He’s a great luthier and I still love it
I gotta look into those I’ve heard the name but have yet to play one. Thank you 🙏
What year is your Conde?
@@musiclife224 I’ll check and get back to you it’s a recent one, they are great !
Thank you for your very nice arrangements and tips. Your chord transitions are very nice, and your selection of music as well. Since it is latin jazz it fits well with a bossa nova backing rhythm, but I would have liked to hear it with a real bolero rhythm behind it . Thanks again for the beautiful pieces you share!
@@carlosboudet8441 thanks for your feedback

To my taste the traditional sounds best.
Nice purchase Sergio, looks good and sounds good too, but i guess anything would sound good in the hands of a great player. To digress a little, just wandering about the Nightless Night tutorial, such a beautiful and complex piece you've created, would be so nice to attempt to play it.
I find string spacing at the bridge and 43 mm nut nice for chords/solo but not for for fingerstyle...always touch neighboring string accidentally...
Yes it’s definitely a challenge when playing intricate finger styles pieces.
Very jealous. I have to settle for "Inspired by Gibson" (339) 😒 For "electric Spanish" jazz I'd love to hear you play some Marc Ribot. Aurora en Pekin is an obvious, popular choice (although maybe a little slow for this format).
Ah yes I forgot to mention the ES meaning electric Spanish which is quite interesting. Ok Marc Ribot is a good suggestion!
Greetings Sergio and Gibson. I am also dabbling on a recent electric purchase. New Eastman AR 508. Having trouble laying down a bar chord with frequent buzzing on 3rd string, and generally less enjoyable to play. Is it your experience that playability should be "easier" on the electric, in things like action, than nylon guitar....or just persevere to find a good bar finger position? Maybe topics for a podcast?
Thanks Mario I’ll definitely do a follow up on that in my next podcast!
Nice. I love your lessons but wish you'd teach some basic stuff from ameb grades 1 2 3 and 4. Nice guitar. 😊
Thanks for commenting, I mainly focus on intermediate to advanced levels and also my own arrangements but I might try some AMEB in the future. That being said I have done these AMEB pieces in the past: Spanish Romance Grade 6 kzread.info/dash/bejne/g2qk1Lqem7GZiLw.htmlsi=0bSs8yPtKh7sDAGI Recuerdos De Mi Pago Grade 4 kzread.info/dash/bejne/k3-hqcGfka-ehdo.htmlsi=rKvw5jYkM0GMdNUZ Tando by Jose Ferrer Grade 5 kzread.info/dash/bejne/oJyOw6OHoqjckso.htmlsi=iCBOEMs0d0eoUUao Lagrima by Tarrega Grade 6 kzread.info/dash/bejne/opecpbSRZcinfLA.htmlsi=Xww9fAZaJPYDZruY Bolero by Arcas Grade 6 kzread.info/dash/bejne/qKhpl9yioM3QpMY.htmlsi=WtyFLEimZ7XCFPpl

Really like this video on chords and Improv. I joined as a student paying monthly to try it out. I am super frustrated because I can't find the place to do the once a month only download for this video! Decieving because where I signed up it said students get sheet music down loads. Afterwards it tells me I only get one. I'm very frustrated. Can't find Besame Mucho on your sheet music page.
Sorry to hear that, I put the codes on the community tab for students each month Can you email me at [email protected] and I’ll send you the pdf you need and happy to help you further Zack.
… So beautiful! Thanks so much
Thanks 🙏

Great lesson ! Will check out your other videos. (I sub a G13 for the G7). Thank you !

Have you heard Paulinho Nogueira's version of this piece? He uses both harmonies in the end. It's absolutely mindblowing! 🤯
No I haven’t thanks for the suggestion
Лучше Марины, наверное ни кто не разбирает,но к сожалению. нет разбора данной мелодии с её участием!
Wonderful
Thanks
Bonjour, Merci beaucoup pour la partition de cette merveilleuse pièce ainsi que pour votre enseignement. P.S: Manuel Ponce prélude 24?
Heart Beat of Portugal 🇵🇹 !.👍🏼
Actually less is better than more!. And that’s what makes the sound more lush 😎👍🏼
As a brazilian this is like drink water for me it is inside my DNA
I love that, thanks for your thoughts
@@latinguitarmastery the chords you use above you can find in all Tom Jobim's compositions
Yes!
@@latinguitarmastery and it is funny because these chords also is almost that song "pure imagination" from the musical movie 😊 wich i love too , very american way but beautiful , like Tom once said , you guys are also good 😅 and jazz is hard to study too 😅
One of my favourite progressions in Bossa. Think it suits most of songs really well. Brazilian songs usually goes for 2-5-1 and it always works. Keep up with the great work!
Thanks, I agree with your thoughts!
Merci
Brick by brick. Great advice!
Thank you Sergio. I've only been learning/playing for 4 years, and have only recently started to practice the technique. Apart from the obvious daily practice and the forever search of what and how to practice, I've also learned that time and patience are the only other common requirement that are allowing me to progress. 40 years? sure....I can do that. Hang on, I'm in my sixties....maybe not 😁 Cheers.
Ha yes 40 years might be asking a bit much! For me it took a couple of years before I was satisfied with my tremolo. Thanks for your thoughts.
Heya, your lesson would be quite useful if you knew how to pass on your knowledge. It is quite chaotic instead and took me quite a while to follow your line of thinking. If you were conversing with someone who is at your level, ie knows the song and chord progressions, it would by a valuable exchange of observations. However, this is supposed to be an instruction, and, as such, it requires a fair amount of good will to stay with you line of thought. Obviously you know music theory, but it is useless when you share it not knowing how to make it accessible to someone not versatile in this area. Also, I don't know how you hear Brazilian music, but I found chords that sound better than your solutions. And why do you name a chord Bb7#11 if there is no 11 in it. It is simply Bb7/-5. Having said that, it was useful to a certain extent, and I used some of your chord shapes, but if you aim to confuse people thinking they will pay you thinking you will make it easier to learn, you fail miserably. You are lousy teacher, sorry.
b5 = #11
@@latinguitarmastery True, but 11 is 4 and there is no 4 in B7. besides, nobody in Brazil uses it like this.
Thanks, Sergio. I'll give these exercises a go. It's helpful to hear that learning to play tremolo smoothly takes quite a bit of time. I've become impatient with it in the past and pretty much gave up on thinking I could ever learn to play it very well. Patience is not my best virtue at times!
Yes keep going! Thanks
I've been thinking of becoming a site member for a while, but so much of your music is too advanced for my ability. But this one I can play!
Great!
Best tutorial for guitar. Cheers
Thanks!
As simple as he thinks that strumming pattern is i cant see or get it to save my fkin life rn
Simple doesn’t mean easy, you can have a look at this tutorial in Rumba strumming:Flamenco Rumba - How to Rumba Strum (including Entre Dos Aguas) kzread.info/dash/bejne/gnqbr7Okd7G6j9Y.html
Good stuff! Where can I find the backing track to play along with?
