Thanks for your thoughtful comments and insights to my question regarding standard music notation vs. Tab as well as the other topics. Perhaps like many others, I use all information I can get my hands on to help me play a given piece, mainly Notation, Tab and performances ("ear"). I think these podcasts are a great idea because they feel like a conversation and we are all getting to know you beyond the confines of the performances and lessons. All the best to you and my KZread guitar colleagues for 2024 - Xerife (pronounced "Sharif" -- Portuguese for "sheriff" -- it is a nickname. Long story....).

Thanks Xerife! Sorry about the mispronunciation.
Thanks Sergio, listening to your podcast was such a great way to start the Christmas break.
Beautiful new guitar, Maestro!
Hi Sergio I saw Lenny Breau play at the Cafe Le Hibou in Ottawa back in the early 1970’s. First time was a great show he played a set of classical a set of jazz and for the third set his mother came on stage and sang country music. Next time I saw him he came on stage, tuned up for 5 minutes. Then said that lights too bright and left. Brilliant performer but tragic life.

Oh wow, amazing story!
I was fortunate to see Lenny Breau (Sergio, Breau is pronounced "Bro") several times in the late 60`s. Pure genius!!

Thanks Dominic! Merry Christmas to you and your family 😊
Well explained Sergio. And not to make a big deal of it but, it was me, not Bob, who posted the first question 🤣. Time and pressure....like making diamonds!

Thanks for clearing that up, Mario. I thought maybe my mind was slipping! 🤣
Very interesting and informative. You mentioned "maybe" amplifying your new Conde with a pick-up. I'm wondering if you could discuss nylon string amplification on one of your future podcasts or KZread videos. I play an Allhambra 5P CW E8 cutaway classical with Fishman Flex pick-ups through a Fishman Loudbox Mini charge. The sound is satisfactory, but not ideal. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations to optimise sound quality? Many Thanks
